very good quality leather , Great design, with good looks and cool classic design that will look good on any year motorcycle. can also be used as a fashion piece. Includes great features like well placed quality zips, buckles, pockets and fasteners. Finally has a inner insulation layer for cooler weather . This is fully removeable. when inner removed, inside of jacket show quality finish. Jacket finished off with very cool, stylish Merlin Logo badge.I rate this company and will buy more of their products.

Merlin Hixon II jacket. Fell in love with this when I saw it. It is beautifully made and looks brilliant. Very comfortable and I always look forward to putting it on. Very happy with it indeed. 6'2", approx 44 to 46" chest. The XXL fits very nicely.

I found this to be a good fit for me plenty of vents and a liner if needed for colder days , has a short zip at the back aswell as a loop , pockets for small items only , feels comfy on the bike

Excellent jacket not worn on a ride yet, waiting for weather to get a bit warmer but with the thermal liner I would say it's more of a 3 season jacket excellent quality leather feels really soft and comfortable straight away. I'm a size 42 and went for the large and fits perfectly snug as it should excellent service as usual from sportsbikeshop at Preston.

The leather feels extremely soft, ideal for a casual jacket, but leaves me worried that it won't perform in the even of a crash.
The fit wasn't quite right, but Sportsbikeshop changed it for one that did fit straight away - top service as always.

The original Hixon jacket was first released in 2016 and was a staple of the Merlin collection for many years. As part of the Hixon refresh we have kept the well-received super soft and supple leather and added in a number of new improvements. The first of these upgrades includes D3O® armour which sits in the shoulders and elbows. Hixon II then has a revised fit with a slightly longer length, new design details and crucially includes more ventilation - with three back vents and two chest ventilation points added.
