Very comfortable boot, true to size worn this a few times now didn't need breaking in at all.
Worn them also walking round arfter a ride and not a problem no rubbing whatsoever.
Feet feel protected with these on and the material is great any marks just rubs right off.

Comfort plus safety.

After looking at many urban type boots I decided on these Merlin Hawkins. The main criteria was comfort for a touring holiday plus a high degree of safety, these supplied both. Some of the other brands had the comfort factor but not the high CE 1.2.2.2. safety rating. They immediately felt comfortable with a very soft inner sole and look a nice boot also. The height is plenty enough to cover your ankle bone and it is made of good quality leather with D30 safety inserts. Like any boot they need a small amount of breaking in but soon feel like you have had them for years. For me they have ticked all the boxes for a competitive price also. Very happy.
