Cardo Packtalk Shoei Helmet Adapter - Neotec 2 / GT Air 2 / J-Cruise 2

If, like me you want to pop a Cardo on your Shoei GT-Air 2 Neotec 2 etc then this little adapter is perfect, just slot it in. My Packtalk Edge was easy to fit to the adapter.

On my Neotec 2 helmet, I had previously mounted the Packtalk Edge further back on the left side of the helmet using the enclosed sticky mount. That worked fine but it does mean reaching quite far back to use the buttons. But, over time, you do get used to it.

I bought this helmet adapter thinking it would make the Cardo stick out so much. However, it doesn't really - maybe a few millimetres. The Cardo is in a more natural position but my muscle memory it used to the old position - so I keep reaching too far back :(

One (real) problem is that using this adapter puts the Cardo a little in the way of the sun visor switch - you can still slide the visor in and out, but you have to angle your hand to avoid poking the Cardo

This fits perfectly in my helmet no issues

It literally does what it says on the tin. I have a Shoei a GT Air 2 and nicely fits into the side panel where the Sena goes.

The ones thing to make this product better, would be to design it so it clips into the helmet instead of sticking on. I get you're probably not going to change helmets but if you did, you have to get a new adapter.

Got a Shoei Air 2 lid and naturally purchased the inbuilt Sena comma ..never had so much bother with a Sena headset before and that's having had 2 Sena headsets before with no issues.. decide to bite the bullet and purchase a Packtalk Edge .This part replaces the helmet original part albeit its held on by 3m tape it looks just like the original left it for the 4hours after fitting (rock solid) only difference to the unit is 2 locating parts for the Packtalk housing unit …and then it's plain sailing …

It really works.
So simple to switch my Cardo Packtalk Edge between helmets now.

Perfect fit. Already had the adhesive applied to the part. Just a quick clean of the mounting place with an alcohol wipe was needed and the Cardo unit clips straight in and is secure.
Would absolutely recommend it.

I thought this was a great idea i'm on my second cardo and it fell off first ride.
I followed the instructions left it 24 hrs after sticking.
Doesn't have clips like the original that's not clear from the advert.
I've now removed the sticky pad and used sugru so far so good.
Poor effort by Cardo.
Cant fault sportsbikeshop though they're always awesome.

Does the job but very expensive just for a piece of plastic.
You would of thought it would of clipped in not just stuck on as there are the clip on holes for the actual shoei helmet comms unit but it works well

Does the job glue plate that fits in to the recess on my shoei Neotec2 so I can fit my packtalk edge in correct position job done
