Cardo 2nd Helmet JBL Kit - Packtalk Edge

Bought a 2nd helmet kit for my packtalk pro so easy to switch between helmets now

Ive been using a Packtalk intercom for years now and like most enjoy the quality of the product and accessories. Having changed to a Packtalk PRO I purchased this to fit to my Arai Tour-x5. I had my old intercom fitted using the adhesive fixing and planned to do the same for the PRO. This kit, unlike all the others I've previously purchased, does not provide this option you only have a plastic clamp which fits onto the shell of the helmet. This kit also does not come with the larger JBL speakers. I knew this before purchase and the sales assistant also made me aware when I purchased it. The larger speakers are available separately but honestly you don't need them, at least in my opinion. Any difference in clarity between both was indistinguishable to me.
Overall the quality is as expected for a premium product but the lack of adhesive mount in an accessory kit is the reason for only giving 4 out of 5.

Easy to fit, allows the same simple mag clip so can now swap the unit between helmets. If you have a modular flip up helmet, get the bigger speakers as wind noise can make the standard speakers difficult to hear over 40mph

A brilliant way of keeping in touch.

Needed a new lid following a bump. This was easy fitting with a little patience. It took longer to review the how tos on stripping the lid liner. Sounds great and mic is very clear.

Same kit as included with the Packtalk Edge itself. Good quality, but a bit expensive for what it is.

The Cardo JBL 2nd helmet kit is absolutely a must if you own more than one Helmet!, Once fitted you can just swap your original unit from helmet to helmet without any fuss or hassle!!

Pack Talk Edge is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for, if you want the best intercom on the market pay for a Pack Talk edge

Bought a new Shoei so needed the Cardo second helmet kit fits spot on some extra length on the cables to help hiding the plugs would be nice. Top service from the Sportsbikshop as always

Perfect if you have more than 1 helmet. Quality of the kit is superb and allows to move the intercom from one lid to another.
