Spada Cafe Air Textile Jacket - Black

Given the heat of late and always running hot, I decided to give this a try after seeing averts on Instagram and doing my own research, I couldn't find many vented jackets with level 2 armour and class AA which is why I decided to go for this.

It seems gym & boxing has been paying off because I needed to size up to 3XL to fit my shoulders in comfortably the downside was the waist was quite big and ideally could have done with some tighteners however it does mean even more airflow so it's not such a bad thing. Looking at the photos the mesh can look a bit strange but it looks better in person.

There are stretchable loop connectors to connect to jeans which work well, another nice touch is that SBS give you the hanger big kudos for that because it's hard to find replacement gear hangers given the size and weight of these products, which brings me to the weight, I would say it's slightly below the weight of my other jackets but still have a nice weighted feel.

It's earned it's place on my bike rack.

Very nice and breezy. Feels really well made, but it's a bit on the heavy side, because of the AA armour. I wish there was a bit more room at the elbows, as the armor feels a bit too hard against your elbow for a bit after you first put this on. It's got a nice silhouette and I think this is excellent value for money.

I bought this jacket as I wanted something cooler to wear in this warm weather, I’m very pleased with this jacket, looks cool and is comfortable to wear, only worn it once and only rode for 60 miles, looking forward to getting more use out of it, I recommend it.

It’s my first piece of Spada clothing, definitely will be trying more of there gear.

it's comfy. tbh it took some getting used to as I'm used to quite heavy jackets and I had to double check I'd actually put one on or done it up :D
