I found that there is nowhere to bolt it to on my clip-ons, they're hollow. I could try peeling back the grip to see how to manage it, but they're so big and clunky I won't bother. They'd make filtering through traffic, or squeezing past the car to get to my garage, a nightmare. I don't doubt they'd do the job of protecting the plastics in a crash, but they do not fit and I'd be taking people's mirrors off with them.
