Weise Waterford Pants
Customer Product Reviews
Very warm but massive
These are very good quality and surprisingly warm, even sweaty hot when it's not too cold out but I just can't understand why they are so huge. I ordered the small as I'm a 30" waist and it that regard they fit very well but the width of the leg is tent like, I make the Michelin man look skinny wearing these.
Warm in sub zero, sizing a bit of an issue
34 - 36 waist and 31 leg so I opted for the large as advised on the size guide....they were far too big - baggy and long over my bike jeans. (maybe OK over textile padded motorbike trousers,?). Sent back for med...still too big. Sent back for small....perfect (and I haven't purchased small trousers in years, bonus!!).....service from Sportsbikeshop was second to none, faultless. Good fit, lightweight, kept me warm 30mins commute in sub zero temperatures, and good price. Kept me dry in showers, not yet used in heavy rain but I have no doubt they will be fit for purpose. Would have given a 5/5 if it weren't for the zips snagging on the material when first used, care must be taken when using them.
I've had about 4 pairs of these and always been impressed how waterproof they are. I would have given them a 5 star rating but for the zips. Mostly work OK but can snag otherwise these are a perfect piece of kit. Zips seem to be an issue on any waterproof over trouser, these seem to be the least hassle on that front. Would definitely recommend these trousers.
Lovely and warm at zero degrees
Really cosy with relatively little bulk which isn't felt on the bike at all, only when stashing. The downside are the ankles; yes, the zips snag easily, so best to leave them closed and put on before boots. Even with zips open the lining gets caught on boot heels anyway. Try getting them on or off in the street and you'll end up on yer a**! Also the ankle doesn't close enough so on me they drag on the floor, which will rip them, so I'm planning a modification. Nevertheless I've never been so warm yet comfortable, so I'm pleased overall. Velcro ankles next model, please. I'm a shortass, 28 inch waist and the XS fits me generously; enough for a 30 inch 5' 8 inch I'd say. Not worn in rain, only snow(!), but they feel as proof as any lightweight. and the lining should slow ingress too. Four stars only because of the ankles.
Very good apart from zips
Excellent quality, perfect for cold and wet weather. Would have given 5 stars but only downside is the zips. We've exchanged a pair which got jammed but they all have seem to have same issue. The fabric lies too close to zip and gets so have to put on before boots & can't just take off at side of road if wanted.
Bought after reading good reviews here and they were right. Really warm and so far waterproof but only in.light rain. Had an issue with zips on the legs as they kept catching on material but after ironing the material away from zip it was fine. Inner lining can also pull through when you put them on with boots but pulls back easily.
Warm, waterproof, fit is perfect
Fully lined, best way to describe is they are like a sleeping bag inside. Fully waterproof, I travel 25 mins to work everyday on a moped and they are perfect in wet cold weather. Zip at ankle for easy pull on with shoes / boots. The fit is perfect too. Very happy with this purchase xx
Warm dry bum
Tried to buy a pair of these last year but they ran out of stock very quickly, and now I understand why. Got in early this year and I am impressed. Got the large to fit over my 34 inch leather trousers and they fit nicely. They are also nice and long in the leg, I am 6'3 inch and they have enough leg for maybe another 2 to 3 inches. They are lovely and warm and the elastic waist is really good. Thanks SBS.
Decent, just what was needed
The product works perfectly, fits a bit baggy; which works well as I can use them over my jeans with comfort. They are definitely waterproof, and have kept me surprisingly dry during some heavy downpours. The coldest I've worn them in so far is 3c, and they seemed fine.
