Givi TRK33BPACK2 Trekker Black Monokey Panniers (Pair) - 66 Litre Total Capacity
Customer Product Reviews
Very easy to fit and remove
Well built. Strong and very easy to fit and remove. They're not heavy and are easy to fill. Top tip - I use Iceland's re-usable carrier bags as liners. Thanks Sportsbikeshop for a great service. UPS gave a great service to.
Just what we needed
Purchased ready for our tour to Wales in July. Very happy with the build and quality of the panniers, quick and easy to fit and remove from bike, panniers racks very easy and quick to remove as well when not required. Make sure contents are bagged as they do leak a bit but not a problem.
Excellent panniers that are really sturdy and look excellent on the bike. Not used in the rain yet but a really clever design that appears to work well. Top notch service from Sportsbikeshop, came the next day!. What made it even better was the really great price.
Great piece of kit
A bit on the expensive side but I think they are worth the extra. I 'upgraded' from the original Yamaha hard cases on my Tracer 700 more for size than anything else but the GIVI's do look the part and are really robust. They come with a spare matching lock barrel to fit a top case so I'm now saving for the 46 litre TRK46. Overall I'm very happy with them.
Excellent Panniers that work well and look great
I bought a set of these to fit on my r1200gs as it already had the Monokey rack fitted. These fit straight on, no messing. They are easy to fit and very secure. The finish on the Panniers is top notch and the price that they're available here is brilliant. As an added bonus they also come with a spare lock barrel, which is ideal as I already had a Givi Monokey top box on the bike. I just swapped the barrel over and now all three boxes use the same key. The only issue with this is that the instructions don't detail how to do this, but a few minutes on Google sorted that out. Anyway I highly recommend these Panniers and Sportsbikeshop for the excellent price and swift delivery.
Perfect for the job
Fitted onto Kawasaki Vulcan S (2017). Just the right size for touring and not too big to hinder filtering (when necessary). Sound Construction and Quality. Fast delivery and cheaper than the stores.
Really strong and rugged
I agonised long and hard over whether to buy genuine aluminium panniers for my R1200GSA or go for these Givi boxes. In the end I went for Givi and am delighted. They are really strong and rugged, and the sealing is very good. Ordered as a pair (for a great price from SPORTSBIKESHOP), they not only come with matching locks, but also have a spare barrel so if you add a top box later on you can fit that lock and have one key fitting all, which is really useful. They are a snap to mount / dismount from their bike-specific carrier and once on are very secure. What really swung it for me was that once off the bike they just look like quality cases, much better than lugging silver aluminium metal boxes around the hotel. Although they are only 33 litres (each), I can cram loads of stuff in them. And when on the bike they are quite slim permitting some careful filtering in heavy traffic.
Delivered on time & well packaged. Panniers are light & externally small for capacity; as well as being of high quality & finish. The option of a small top flap helps considerably with packing. The frames are substantial & and add allot to the weight. I have not, as yet, used them so I cannot comment further. I have chosen these over the Triumph ones for this my 2nd tiger sport as I found them too heavy, wide & hard to load/unload.
Just the right size, great quality & value
Fitted to Tiger 1050 Sport. I think the larger size would have made the bike as wide as a bus! Great features with the top or side opening with internal locking peg. Match my bike perfectly (white front, black tail end). Fantastic value compared to the metal type panniers and these look like they will last a long time (a mate has had a set for years and they've taken some bashes but are still in great nick). Excellent service from Sportsbikeshop.
These panniers are great on my 660 Tenere. They work well and nothing bad to say about them. However I didn't think about them heating up in the sun so take that into consideration. They do heat up a lot with the sun.
Excellent, just what I needed
Good quality and proven to withstand the wet. I particularly like the feature where you can open a 'flap' to slip in laptop or other items without opening the whole pannier. Good one key opens both but spare lock and keys provided if you want separate locks. Well packed and arrived in time as promised.
Trekker Panniers test on Triumph Tiger Sport
Tested on one trip riding extreme mountain passes in France, Switzerland & Italy. Bought two 33 litre so not symmetrical but give the slimmest possible width. This was really needed on the return trip when filtering through at least 10 miles of stationary M25 traffic. Set the left pannier with the optional small section opening & the right one with the full lid opening. Very handy unique feature. Extra weight did not effect motorcycles handling on mountain hairpins. No wobbles or weaves at three figure speeds. High quality, sturdy construction & watertight. Side Rails can be completely removed with a special key so you need to buy your own small shackle locks if you plan to leave the cases on overnight in rough areas. These panniers are so good they must be the bench mark in motorbike luggage.
Excellent quality panniers, look great
Yet to use them in anger, but compared to other panniers I've had over the years from Hepco & Becker and BMW, these Givi Trekkers are right up there in quality. They look great, and especially good in black in my opinion. The general case moulding is heavy quality - they feel very robust - and the hinges seem strong. The handles and locks are easy to use and well made. I only rated them Good and not as Excellent as I haven't yet used them on a big trip. But they look very promising, see below. At the 33l size, they don't stick out too much on the bike. But the clincher for me is the ability to open in the conventional way, or to switch to top opening; if you're on a touring or camping trip and well loaded up, its really useful to be able to just open the top section only, to get out a camera, some kit or whatever. Well recommended. At this price too, they are very good value.
Best price quality product
Using these as side panniers for a few weeks and a great robust product. Dropped one fresh out the box and hardly damaged it. The double hinge access is great for touring and so so easy to put on and take off bike. Finally Sportsbikeshop service second to none on time on the money. Great Stuff!!
