As others have said - it is size adjusted already, so if you normally wear bike gear in size L then buy this in size L, cuffs are a tight fit around gloves but give a great seal when you have managed to get them over the top. Nice high neck - i have combined it with the oxford storm collar and remained completely dry on a 20 min ride in torrential rain (also had it paired with the rain warrior trousers)

jacket is a generous fit. Body no flap at speed, arms a touch loose. Neck seal is lined but tight so I ride opened or on last closure setting

Nothing's truly waterproof, eventually the rain will soak through and get to you so it's all about layering to delay this. I regularly drive for extended periods on motorways in heavy rain and this jacket does a great job of protecting the outer layers of my jacket from the bulk of the rain. The fold away velcro around the zip makes it easy to remove and it has a sold zip. The collar is lined which is nice until it gets wet. It dried quickly and folds up small so you can carry with you for the unexpected downpours. Definitely a worthy item to have in your collection and it gives you some great visibility as a bonus

Bought this (and the trousers) as a replacement for a one piece, which I found almost impossible to get on at the start of a downpour. Kept me totally dry on a drenched trip across France on the way to the Shuttle, and beyond. Shop staff were first class.

Purchase these and the corresponding trousers to replace my Richa Typhoon one piece that go ripped.
SO much easier to get on and off in a hurry, came through some torrential rain in the lake district for a few hours and seemed to cope well. nothing is completely waterproof but they did a very good job. The cuffs are nice and tight which stops water running up your gloves.
Reccomended.

I purchased the Richa rain warrior jacket hoping it would be completely waterproof and I’m very happy to say that it is. It is an extremely good jacket very comfortable to wear and extremely good value for what you get. I highly recommend. I do have 2 now as I ordered one and it was too big so I recommend you ordered the size of jacket to go over the same size of jacket that you’re wearing that worked for me.

Took the advice of other reviewers and went true to size. Fits great over winter jacket and elasticated waist band stops it flapping in the breeze. Elastic at the cuffs are tight but can just get them over long winter gloves to stop water ingress. Sure they will stretch a bit with use. Can vouch for 100% waterproof. Bag is nice touch & keeps it tidy in pannier, light and does not take up too much room.

I want a waterproof jacket that's lightweight, rolls up small with plenty of room in the shoulders for me to play golf in as well as ride. I'm a big lad 6 ft 4 in and take 3 xl in jackets, can you help please.
October 25, 2017The Rain Warrior jacket(in the 3XL size) weighs around 850G with the packaging. Unfortunately we are not able to confirm as to whether there would be enough room to swing a golf club, as it is not designed for that purpose.
My leathers have a 'hump' on the back, can you suggest a waterproof over jacket to accommodate this. Regards, mark
October 17, 2017If you are using this on track, then the Furygan Furygan Racing Rain Suit has space for a hump and cut outs for the knee sliders. If it is for road use, the Richa Rain Warrior would be fine.

For an XL textile jacket with shoulder and elbow armour, would ordering an XL be sufficient or is it best to get a 2XL?
October 31, 2012The Richa Rain Warrior jackets are designed oversize as standard although we do find many customers opting for a size above. This gives the option of a few more layers to be worn underneath during cold and inclement weather.
Does this come with a carry bag and if so what are the dimensions of the packed down jacket please?
March 2, 2012The Richa rain warrior is supplied inside its own carry bag which measures approximately 22cm x 22cm x 6 cm deep.
Re sizing - is the chest size for this item to be measured with the under jacket or without - so should I measure when wearing the jacket that I intend to wear this Richa jacket over the top of or without it?
