Wriggling into a set of waterproofs is a motorcycling rite of passage. These are SBS customers’ favourite one-pieces…
Customers found the suit's design suitable for covering existing bike gear, highlighting its effective windblocking and waterproof capabilities. Many appreciated its easy fit over bulky clothing, although some mentioned minor sizing issues. Customers noted that the product maintained comfort during rain and cold weather, praising its functional construction. There was mixed feedback on actual waterproof performance, with some customers staying dry in rain while others experienced leakage. Despite some issues, the suit was often recommended for its overall quality, convenience, and crucial dryness assurance during rides.
Pulling this on once you are already dressed with boots on is straight forward, meaning you can get it on in a hurry if needed. It's proven perfectly water proof for me, easily fitting over my regular gear. It's also proven straight forward to take off too once your at your destination. Well worth the money in my eyes!
This rain suit is now made of polyester but still sold as a pvc rain suit. Can't say anything about the quality but polyester is not as waterproof as pvc. Anyway this changes should have been notified by the seller. In my case it was a waste of money as I already have a polyester rain suit. Sportsbikeshop has not answered my email about the product. Not very convincing.
I purchased this item on a whim as poor weather was expected. I chose a really large size to fit straight over my normal riding gear and for ease of fitting quickly if a downpour occurs. The front zip area has an inner liner to the high waist area to stop water getting in at the lower zip area. Luckily I haven’t had to use it yet and hoping I never will, a reasonably priced insurance policy!
I do a daily round trip commute of 130 miles a day, I desperately needed some new weather protection so I gave this a try, within a week I used it twice for 2 torrential rain rides and was very impressed, I am normally a size large and I ordered a xl, this initially felt massive but once I was" all bent up" on the bike the fit was great.
Just done a 600 miles round trip to Northern Ireland taking the wife on the back on her first ever distance trip as passenger and rode through some torrential rain for the full journey home (300miles) and can honestly say we both stayed bone dry no issues whatsoever and another plus is the suits fold into a built in carrier bag with straps making them easy to carry
This saved me a few times in Switzerland/france recently it done exactly what it was supposed to do, didn t let a drop of water through in torrential rain
Amazing bit of kit rainproof and wind proof, easy on and off and a built in self storage pocket!!!
Worked very well when needed and easy to get on over my other riding gear.
I was never going to use the built in storage bag ,too much of a faff if packing away when still wet. I cut of the strap and buckles and now use a compress dry bag to store it in .Goes down to a smaller/better size when you can push all the air out. Fits under the tail tidy and is good to have if ambushed by the weather.
Trying this on, it was a bit of a struggle to get into but once I did, it fit well and felt comfortable.
Value-wise not as expensive as I expected, which is always a plus.
I haven't worn them in the rain yet but I've heard good things and the zippers and everything seem to seal the suit up well.
Cost effective solution to keeping dry. Got caught in the mother of all storms in Denmark, suit was easy to put on over boots etc. Great cuffs at wrists and ankles and collar all kept water out. Packs up small in a stuff bag. Definitely worth buying
Bought for a trip around the Wild Atlantic. Came in handy and kept me dry during inevitable showers.
Quite bulky for what it is, even folded tightly it takes a lof of room in a rucksack.
The suit is good for the price but isn’t fully waterproof, I still got a bit wet on my stomach (heavy rain all day) but dry everywhere else.
I purchased this suit as a replacement for my 20yr old belstaff suit which had given up being waterproof. The suit is well made, comfortable to wear and as yet, waterproof. I purchased it in XL as I wanted it to fit over my alpinestars Andes 3. My normal sizing is large. My only niggle is with the body zip, which has an annoying habit of snagging the lining on the first 2/3rds of the zip. The upper end of the zip is fine, it’s just the bit which you have to tuck back into the suit when you put it on. It does have a rather handy little trick of being able to be folded inside out and into one of the pockets which can then be worn as a large-ish bum bag by the way of a built-in belt, which is a great way of carrying it when you are travelling. All in, I’m really pleased with it, especially at the price point that I paid for it. Good value for money
Kept me dry through some monsoons, but can leak if the zip flap gets folded in the wrong way. Can't get the legs on over boots, so not easy to throw on when the heavens open.
Second one in 5 years keeps my wife away from the elements every time it rains
Well I managed to book a motorbike trip to Luxembourg for the wettest weekend of 2025.
I'm not kidding, rain, hail, thunder and lightning - I had it all from the moment I left home in Essex to destination. In fact, the only dry bit was the Eurotunnel!
What can I say about suit, well I stayed dry the whole time. I have no complaints at all. It was a little long in the leg for me (5ft9) but this was fine as my boots were totally covered to the ankles. Even my neck stayed dry.
Yes it would be a little bit of a phaff getting it on in a hurry, but I can get pass that in the name of dryness
Great product, great price and great service from Sports Bike Shop as always. I made the mistake of ordering a larger size than was necessary, Sports Bike Shop changed it immediately without any hassle.
