Advice & Guides You'd be surprised how many riders wear a helmet that's too big for them. Here's how to tell if a lid really fits you...
Customers appreciate the LS2 adventure helmet for its exceptional value, comfort, and quality, noting a snug but manageable fit that adapts over time. The integrated sun visor is well-received, and the helmet's lightweight design offers excellent visibility. Some customers highlight minor issues, such as noise and fogging, suggesting purchasing a pinlock insert to mitigate this. Despite these concerns, many consider it a great choice for its price, suitable for both road and off-road adventures, and commend its durability and practical features.
Had looked at loads of adventure style helmets over the last few months, and for the price, style, and features I didn’t find anything else of comparable value and quality that fitted me anything like as well. Large range of sizes and all the features I wanted. But do try them on as the I feel the sizing is on the small size . For me, it’s as comfortable as my shoei neotech. Wind noise is fine ( I do wear earplugs) and it’s only over 70 that you feel the peak and even then it’s not bad at all. That’s with a low screen too.
I think it’s a great lid. Big thumbs up.
Really good helmet, fits snug, very open at the mouth cover end so you don't feel to closed in room to breath. My only issue is the visor fogs up , which I find surprising as it's very roomy at the bottom front of the helmet. But other than that great buy.
Yet to do any great distance with this helmet but first impressions are excellent really comfortable well constructed and beautifully finished….shame it didn’t come with a pin lock which is on back order
very comfy, great looking helmet. Very well priced for the product!
Fantastic value for money, smart looking and well made
fit is good. wind noise to be expected from an adventure helmet. staff attention and assistance is 1st class.
Great value using it occasionally when off roading - would buy again
Really comfortable, good level of protection and great price. Good ventilation, easy to use with gloves on, sleek design and relatively light weight.
Staff were fantastic as well, really knowledgeable and helpful.
Spent 3 hours in the Leeds store and they could not be more helpful I tried several helmets on ranging from £100 to £700 and settled on this helmet as it fitted my head the best. I have tried it without ear plugs and it is quite loud with wind noise but I ride with the Oxford Race ear plugs and with these in I can't hear any wind noise.
Should come with a Pinlock insert as standard - steams up all the time without one
I purchased this from the Milton Keynes shops and the staff could have been more helpful, especially the young lady who made sure that it fitted correctly, it's lightweight, comfortable, I love the very unique design
An excellent helmet for the price however the new vent system leads to head freeze after a couple of hours. Closing the vents just minimises the volume of cold air fed to your head. Still helmet looks nice in coffee shop as you thaw out!
Second LS2 helmet, changing up from a Storm 2. Definitely fits more snug, got and XL in both and this one feels tighter, not quite hot spots but pretty close. Might loosen with more hours. Decent first dirt / offroad style helmet.
Nice snug fit and pretty much true to size, first adventure style helmet but with the peak and drop down visor make a massive difference..
Decent helmet lots of visibility - airflow is ok.
Only downside is the sunshades mechanism is a bit clunky.
I tested this helmet for the first time on a 200 mile ride on A-roads and dirt trails (Salisbury Plain and Fosse Way) on an Africa Twin.
The helmet was comfortable and secure from the start and I could easily wear goggles with the visor down.
This helmet is quite noisy (I wear ear plugs) and I would prefer a double D-ring fastener rather than the ratchet. However this is a good first helmet for off-road riding.
Good fit , visors don't mist but used anti-mist spray ( just to be sure) brought for green lane type riding. Very happy with it.
Bought this just to wear at the ABR festival. A really fair priced helmet that provided plenty of visibility. Lightweight with a very comfortable fit, even in the extreme heat we experienced. After the festival it was very easy to clean away all the dirt and grim. Would have appreciated the sun visor dropping a cm lower, otherwise great value for money
The overall fit is very good, albeit the strap is a little tight under my chin and this will need to be loosened off, but not too much, for obvious reasons (that of safety).
The weight of the helmet is very manageable too. The vision is good and being in the hot and humid Philippines, the helmet offers good ventilation and the drop down sun visor makes this a great choice.
The cocoas scheme of the white, blue and red compliments both my Honda CRF300L and my XL750 Transalp.
I recommend this product.
