Arai Helmets

I bought this reactive version of the Pinlock as I wanted to have a tinted visor in the bright sun, but also sometimes ride in the dark. This was the ideal compromise, without forking out for Arai's add on sunshade system. It works brilliantly. The reactive tint isn't instant, it takes around a minute to change, but fine for what I need. As an added bonus, the view through the tint looks awesome. Colours are more saturated and depth of field appears improved. Highly recommend and worth the money, especially with the discount from SportsBikeShop.

In my Arai helmet. It’s all completely hidden so you wouldn’t know it was there. Good quality sound. Very pleased with purchase.

This is exactly wHat I wanted. Safe and legal and perfect for glare. Easy to operate and still have full visibility. Had contimplated sun glasses but this give the protection you need but not restricting peripheral view.

This is the most comfy helmet I've owned and has totally changed the riding experience. I narrowed my selection down to two helmets and Sportsbikeshop got ordered both into store for me to try the next day. Great Service as usual from a great store!

The only issue I have is that it seems to lift at speed so I have to tighten chin strap up tight. Other than that great comfortable helmet. Great vision, airflow and doesn’t steam up

The chin vent on my Quantic disintegrated after about 18 months of moderate use and good care. So having to buy a new one was a bit annoying.
The replacement is plain unlike the original which colour matched to lid, but not a big deal.
Presumably it was an 'off day' on the plastics mix?!
