£499 for a 2026 quantic that's just come out is a great price
Like riding with a pillow. It makes me a bit of a bobblehead due to the largest-than-others shells, but you can really feel the quality. Great vents, especially with the eyebrows open. I've worn it on a 1500 miles trip around Europe - going back I'd buy it white to avoid the heat, but it was a great purchase.
Absolutely love this helmet. Looks great and extremely comfortable. Fits perfectly due to the custom fit by excellent staff member, changed cheek pads and head liner to get perfect fit all included in the price. Nice and quiet as well.
Really comfortable great ventilation. I also fitted the Sena intercom that fits in the back of it which is a really tidy job. Only disappointment was the chin vent flew off when I was riding but Arai fixed it under warranty. Sportsbike shop were really helpful sorting out for me.
Fantastic fit and super comfortable, staff a sportsbikeshop were helpful and very knowledgeable. They supported all the way through the purchase with no pressure. Fantastic service
Great quality item backed up with years of performance reviews. On 3rd Arai lid and reluctant to change when they fit so well and are top quality. Yes they're not cheap...but. as I've said....you've only got one head.
I love Arai Helmets. Had many over the years. Fits my 'block head skull' nicely. Comfortable helmet made to a high standard. However, I can only give it three starts as they are still using this ridiculously complicated visor release system and the RRP is getting out of reach for me. P.S. very happy with service from Sportsbikeshop so far.
Top quality helmet, extremely comfortable, and definitely my favourite after trying several different makes and models. Price is in the high end bracket but the difference is there when you try most of the others. Can’t recommend this helmet highly enough.
A well designed and well made helmet, as usual from Arai. However, I purchased the Quantic hoping that it was going to be a direct replacement for the old Quantum ST Pro, but unfortunately it appears to be a different shape. Early days, so hopefully it will bed in and become more comfortable. That aside, the well thought out design and plush lining definitely makes this feel like a premium helmet.
Love this helmet. Very plush. Feels premium. Would buy another in the future. Quiet when out on the road.

Stylish, lightweight, ergonomic, great ventilation and noise cancellation, easy to use and change visor what's not to like! Quality helmet. Fantastic communication and service from Sportsbikeshop too.
The usual Arai quality - paint, fit, finish all top notch as you'd expect. love theoption PT pinlock. not hugely dark but enough to help. interestingly the comms speakers need to be fitted under the comfort liner on the cheek pads which takes a little thinking about but over all works well, is comfy and the little pocket on the neck roll works like a charm. The only down side I see is the fact that neck roll doesn't come out (or at least I've not seen a way to get it out without damage) so the whole interior is not, technically, removable for cleaning ! Other than that - vents work really well, visor removal/refitting is a doddle.
This is the most comfy helmet I've owned and has totally changed the riding experience. I narrowed my selection down to two helmets and Sportsbikeshop got ordered both into store for me to try the next day. Great Service as usual from a great store!
The only issue I have is that it seems to lift at speed so I have to tighten chin strap up tight. Other than that great comfortable helmet. Great vision, airflow and doesn’t steam up

As with every Arai, the Quantic is formed around protection, first and foremost. Manufactured by hand, the outer shell maintains core strength but with a substantial weight reduction. The smooth, round shape is a key Arai signature and primarily designed to 'glance-off' and spread impact forces. Using the aerodynamic and protective abilities of Arai's full-race helmets and all the experience and know-how earned over millions of road kilometres, the new Quantic slips through the air neatly and efficiently, wrapping its wearer in a cocoon of luxury. It offers a fresh choice for riders that want the very best performance from a helmet - in terms of protection, comfort and ease of wear, day-in-day out - with zero compromise. For easy access on and off the Quantic features a 5mm flare around the base, while the VAS MAX vision visor comes with a Pinlock insert ready to use. The premium brushed nylon interior is removable and features Facial Contour System (FCS) and neck roll wire pocket. It also features Emergency Release System (ERS).
Outer shell: PB e-cLc (Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction)
The PB e-cLc outer shell design outlines a stylish, organic shape and uses a Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction for lightweight strength; it's designed to glance off and spread impact forces. New materials have been used to substitute the AR-mat as middle layer, resulting in a substantial weight reduction while maintaining the same strength as the PB-cLc construction.
Variable Axis System (VAS)
With VAS, the visor mounting position is lowered, yielding an average of an additional 24mm across both temple areas, in pursuit of the ideal smoother shape that increases the ability of glancing off energy. As a result, this has made it possible for more of the shell to be smoother along and above the test line of the Snell standard.
Quantic Ventilation
Comprehensive and controllable ventilation is based around 12 ventilation ports: 6 intake, 6 exhaust. The 3D Arai logo feeds cooling air into two central intake points and works well at low speed, alongside dual F1-derived tear duct top intakes, twin brow vents and 2-position sliding air-scoop, filtered chin vent. Hot air is efficiently extracted via the 3-way one-piece rear exhaust/spoiler, twin flush-fit side exhausts (with foam dams to reduce noise) and neck exhaust.
3D Arai logo duct
Immediately noticeable, the new 3D Arai logo duct (made as thin as possible, just 3.5mm in depth) feeds two central 10mm intake ports. This is a first in an Arai, and entirely due to PB e-cLc's strength and the shell construction. It also works very well at low speed and with an upright riding position; at just 50km/h it's channelling an extra 40% airflow, at 120km/h 7%. It can also be opened, or closed, easily with summer or winter gloves, via a short-stroke lever placed at the top; if the rider can't see the lever and the logo is in its normal place, the duct is open. The Arai logo duct is designed to breakaway in the event of an impact.
One-piece rear exhaust with spoiler function
The one-piece rear exhaust/spoiler, operated by a 3-way switch, is inspired by the DX-2 of the RX-7V Racing, but redesigned for touring use - however, it was tested up to 300km/h at Suzuka. It sits a little more forward on the shell and is fed by 3 ports in the shell. As part of the Quantic's comprehensive ventilation system it efficiently draws air but also smooths airflow over (and from the side) of the helmet, improving stability and reducing buffeting, especially while overtaking at highway speeds. The result is much less rider fatigue. Manufactured as thin and light as possible it's designed to crush or break away upon impact, therefore having no impact on protective performance.
Interior
Using the interiors of both the Profile-V and RX-7V as benchmarks the Quantic's interior was designed from scratch for maximum comfort, airflow (there are two holes in the forehead area) and light weight. The interior and cheek pads are easily removed for cleaning or adjustment.
The complete interior may be easily removed. All parts can be cleaned with lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse well after cleaning and never dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Interior parts in different size thickness are available for a custom fit for every rider.
Build in communication systems are popular, but the problem is often that the room for a speaker is limited or just not present, causing unpleasant pressure points. The speaker pockets, offering room for mounting speakers without effecting comfort or fit (speaker not included).
To offer an even better snug fit and enhancing the comfort to the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System (FCS) works with a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds, providing the necessary support without excessive pressure.
Emergency Release System (ERS)
Allows easier access to an injured rider. By pulling the orange tabs integrated in the pads, the cheek pads slide out, making helmet removal easier for trained medical personnel and rescuers, minimising the risk of additional injury.
Breath guard
Works in conjunction with the dual-pivot chin vent to better direct fresh air to the inside surface of the shield while at the same time directing hot breath down and away from the inside surface of the shield.
Chin Curtain (fixed)
Attached to the bottom of the helmet, the new chin curtain helps to further accentuate the Egg-shape form. The curtain simultaneously blocks air intrusion from turbulent air below and increases negative pressure to enhance the exhaust function of FFS by drawing more air from the mouth area. The improved airflow reduces noise even further.
