Arai Quantic - Modern Grey

As expected with Arai very good product. I’ve always had the RX7 but this is great for road riding and more comfortable

Helmet fits nicely, changed from a Bell. Tried several at the shop and very obliging staff, nothing too much trouble

I’ve done about 600 miles in my new Arai Quantic. The white colour actually has a bit of sparkle close up. It’s very comfortable and has reasonable wind noise suppression, with improved vents at top and chin which are convenient when riding. I’ve had Arai helmets for over 30 years and they still perform for me. Excellent price and service from SBS. Thoroughly recommended.

I consider my head shape as oval, and the 58M is sized and fits perfectly, both in comfort and security, It has my preferred double D ring fastening system. Visibility is good. Noise is considerably reduced compared to other systems I have tried. The helmet gives complete reassurance that protection is at the core of design. A great investment, and I find myself in a good place.

Fits well, reasonable quiet, love the style.

Love the quality and design, it's rather good.
The fit and feel matches the quality and does not disappoint. For me it is quiet and comfortable with the fit being spot on. Love the fact that the visor holds any position I place it.
Ventilation is I would say decent and nothing more. My only gripe would be the small notch for holding the visor one position of fully sealed finding it quite difficult to open with gloves. I ended up filing this down slightly with a fine file until it only just held the visor making for me a much better solution being that much easier to open yet still holding the visor as designed.

After using a Shoei NXR for years which I really liked, this feels even better quality, both inside and out, the flag UK paint looks superb.
Purchased from Sportsbikeshop in Preston who were very helpful giving a demo of the side panels and visor removal, especially after coming from the Shoei which was so easy.

I bought this helmet based on all the good reviews from motorcycle journalist like MCN etc, but it's honestly the worst helmet I've ever owned. The helmet is so noisy even with ear plugs, that it's all I can concentrate on when I'm riding. I end up getting wet eyes from the wind hitting them constantly. I sent this helmet back to SBS/Arai thinking something must be wrong with it, but they returned it saying there's no defects. I've barely ridden this summer since owning this helmet due to the noise and wind on my face when riding.

I tried and bought mine at the Reading branch. I wanted something to ride overseas with that's a bit different in design and comfortable. The Quantic is very comfortable and not ridiculously heavy like some helmets I have tried in the past. The visor opening mechanism is fiddly and takes some getting used to but also you have to be in neutral (at lights) to operate it with your left hand.

I have ordered the weird Vas-V Pro Shade to go with it.

We bought his and hers Arai Quantic helmets in the Flag colour scheme.I had my eye on a Shoei GT3Air but after trying both on it was no contest. We’ve worn these on a 50 mile first trip on a newly purchased VFR800 and the vents performed brilliantly on a very warm day. I have a C5 that I use on my R1200RT but this helmet is way more comfortable and the chin strap doesn’t dig in.
