Just as expected with top quality product, Arai from my experiences are one of the best if not the best. Tha Arai Quantic is probably the best fit for my head shape, super comfy and at par with its cousi Arai 7x rv . Love it. Highly recommended
Not cheap no, but top top Arai quality. Fits so well and feels super plush. When it arrived I thought they’d sent me an empty box because it’s so light!! Don’t be tight when it comes to your head, go bright go loud and spend the money, it’s worth it.
This is my 2nd Arai Quantic as they fit me perfect, comfortable and pretty quiet, went to Boston for my new one and have to say the help and service I got from Sandie was second to none, even posted my old helmet home for me as I was on the bike, Ive had most of my kit and some other bits from SBS and they cant be faulted in my opinion.
This helmet is perfect. It fits really comfortably, is quieter than my old Arai Corsair and looks amazing (Dark Citizen). I initially wanted a new helmet with a built in sun visor, but Arai will not compromise on safety so don’t fit them. It’s hardly sunny enough in the UK to worry about it anyway.
I will always choose Arai - the Quantic is the plushest, comfiest helmet I've ever had. The paint scheme is to die for. The safety of Arai helmets is well documented.
Removing one star because the visor design is still too flimsy compared to Shoei. The visor air vents still pop out far too often.
Great fit in shop and when not riding. Very uncomfortable when on the bike (bmwr1250rs) and riding. May just need running in. Incidentally pinlock fitted wrong way round by shop
Wow what can I say that hasn't already been said? It really is just the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn, the airflow through the multiple vents are beyond compare and the quality and style is awesome simply put you get what you paid for.
It's an Arai, no suprises This is my first Arai, having moved from Shuberth’s and Shoei’s. It looks and feels quality, is plush enough inside however, it is quite noisy with the visor up. With very helmet, fitting is key and I take a large in shoei’s so ordered a large in the Arai. It is a great fit.
Overall I am very pleased with it, it is just a bit noisy.
Plenty of options for cheeky pads and skull caps available for no extra charge. By far fits me better than any other helmet. Plenty of vents and the texture inside is sweat wicking.
I’ve had 3 helmets prior to this, from different brands, and they all had some minor compromise. The Arai Quantic is the first helmet that has been perfect in every way for me. I know head shape is individual etc, but the feel and quality shines way above any other brand for me. The visor is easy to change, the vents actually work, the lining is plush and easily removed. I fitted a Cardo Packtalk and the speaker recess are deep enough that the speakers don’t push against your ears. Noise is at a minimum (subjective I know), the visor doesn’t whistle like some. The only very minor nit-pick is the visor unlock, which can be a bit tricky with thicker gloves. Other than that I can’t recommend it highly enough. Don’t think I’ll ever buy another brand!
From the start you know this is the only helmet to buy after lots of searching around The style was key to me as this helmet matches my bike colours ? then you get the bonuses - so so comfortable with no headache ache whatsoever. From the many vents to easy to lift visor what s not to like
This is my 1st Arai helmet. Great helmet. I completed weeks trip around Ireland cost line and it felt right to me. Good ventilation, I was able to fit my glasses and good sound isolation.
My experience of the helmet is a snug, head hugging, soft, comfortable fit. The ventilation has proven its worth in the recent hot days and the quality of the finish suggests it’s built to last. Visor opening/closing can be a bit fiddly with bulky gloves. The removal of the visor, however. is a definite improvement over previous models and removal of the interior linings for cleaning is equally easily. The lack of a drop down tinted visor is not an issue for me but may be for others.

As with every Arai, the Quantic is formed around protection, first and foremost. Manufactured by hand, the outer shell maintains core strength but with a substantial weight reduction. The smooth, round shape is a key Arai signature and primarily designed to 'glance-off' and spread impact forces. Using the aerodynamic and protective abilities of Arai's full-race helmets and all the experience and know-how earned over millions of road kilometres, the new Quantic slips through the air neatly and efficiently, wrapping its wearer in a cocoon of luxury. It offers a fresh choice for riders that want the very best performance from a helmet - in terms of protection, comfort and ease of wear, day-in-day out - with zero compromise. For easy access on and off the Quantic features a 5mm flare around the base, while the VAS MAX vision visor comes with a Pinlock insert ready to use. The premium brushed nylon interior is removable and features Facial Contour System (FCS) and neck roll wire pocket. It also features Emergency Release System (ERS).
Outer shell: PB e-cLc (Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction)
The PB e-cLc outer shell design outlines a stylish, organic shape and uses a Peripherally Belted e-Complex Laminate Construction for lightweight strength; it's designed to glance off and spread impact forces. New materials have been used to substitute the AR-mat as middle layer, resulting in a substantial weight reduction while maintaining the same strength as the PB-cLc construction.
Variable Axis System (VAS)
With VAS, the visor mounting position is lowered, yielding an average of an additional 24mm across both temple areas, in pursuit of the ideal smoother shape that increases the ability of glancing off energy. As a result, this has made it possible for more of the shell to be smoother along and above the test line of the Snell standard.
Quantic Ventilation
Comprehensive and controllable ventilation is based around 12 ventilation ports: 6 intake, 6 exhaust. The 3D Arai logo feeds cooling air into two central intake points and works well at low speed, alongside dual F1-derived tear duct top intakes, twin brow vents and 2-position sliding air-scoop, filtered chin vent. Hot air is efficiently extracted via the 3-way one-piece rear exhaust/spoiler, twin flush-fit side exhausts (with foam dams to reduce noise) and neck exhaust.
3D Arai logo duct
Immediately noticeable, the new 3D Arai logo duct (made as thin as possible, just 3.5mm in depth) feeds two central 10mm intake ports. This is a first in an Arai, and entirely due to PB e-cLc's strength and the shell construction. It also works very well at low speed and with an upright riding position; at just 50km/h it's channelling an extra 40% airflow, at 120km/h 7%. It can also be opened, or closed, easily with summer or winter gloves, via a short-stroke lever placed at the top; if the rider can't see the lever and the logo is in its normal place, the duct is open. The Arai logo duct is designed to breakaway in the event of an impact.
One-piece rear exhaust with spoiler function
The one-piece rear exhaust/spoiler, operated by a 3-way switch, is inspired by the DX-2 of the RX-7V Racing, but redesigned for touring use - however, it was tested up to 300km/h at Suzuka. It sits a little more forward on the shell and is fed by 3 ports in the shell. As part of the Quantic's comprehensive ventilation system it efficiently draws air but also smooths airflow over (and from the side) of the helmet, improving stability and reducing buffeting, especially while overtaking at highway speeds. The result is much less rider fatigue. Manufactured as thin and light as possible it's designed to crush or break away upon impact, therefore having no impact on protective performance.
Interior
Using the interiors of both the Profile-V and RX-7V as benchmarks the Quantic's interior was designed from scratch for maximum comfort, airflow (there are two holes in the forehead area) and light weight. The interior and cheek pads are easily removed for cleaning or adjustment.
The complete interior may be easily removed. All parts can be cleaned with lukewarm water and mild soap. Rinse well after cleaning and never dry in direct sunlight or near a heat source. Interior parts in different size thickness are available for a custom fit for every rider.
Build in communication systems are popular, but the problem is often that the room for a speaker is limited or just not present, causing unpleasant pressure points. The speaker pockets, offering room for mounting speakers without effecting comfort or fit (speaker not included).
To offer an even better snug fit and enhancing the comfort to the lower jaw, the Facial Contour System (FCS) works with a foam spring support in the cheek pad that compresses and rebounds, providing the necessary support without excessive pressure.
Emergency Release System (ERS)
Allows easier access to an injured rider. By pulling the orange tabs integrated in the pads, the cheek pads slide out, making helmet removal easier for trained medical personnel and rescuers, minimising the risk of additional injury.
Breath guard
Works in conjunction with the dual-pivot chin vent to better direct fresh air to the inside surface of the shield while at the same time directing hot breath down and away from the inside surface of the shield.
Chin Curtain (fixed)
Attached to the bottom of the helmet, the new chin curtain helps to further accentuate the Egg-shape form. The curtain simultaneously blocks air intrusion from turbulent air below and increases negative pressure to enhance the exhaust function of FFS by drawing more air from the mouth area. The improved airflow reduces noise even further.
