Took 300 mile trip from Belfast to Killarney with one stop (approx 150 miles) at motorway speeds and temp 5C-7C. Had Rukka Nivala with thermals and liner but the wind chill (2C-3C), probably deflected from touring screen on xr1000, really penetrated the kidney area (rest of body toasty). This belt has cured it without having to layer up too much and sweltering off the bike.
It fastens easily with Velcro and is unnoticeable, plus the Outlast regulates temperature going through major towns and off the bike.
For my needs a good piece of kit at good price.

Not very stiff

I purchased a back protector with a built in kidney guard so I sadly won't get much use out of this but the fit is great and feels great when riding.

As usual super delivery and service from Sportsbike. I purchased this as I was looking for something that to give my back some support on long rides. I should have accepted the other reviews, although there is two ribbed strips in the back of this garment it gives no support whatsoever. The Velcro is only 3 inches wide on one side so if you are a 34 like me it sits right at the start of the base Velcro which gives you little adjustment, this means the excess can slip down and fold over becoming uncomfortable. Although I would say it gave me a measure of warmth on my back by stopping any draft getting under my jacket.

Nice fit and quality

The belt is quality made and fits really comfortable. It is warm and keeps fairly good support. Sizing is normal. Tested only spring season and it performed really nice.

I bought this one to replace by old belt. It does the job and it doesn't feel uncomfortable. Compared with the my old one leaves less air to circulate that it is OK during the winter but during the summer you feel the sweat.

Perfect kidney warmer

Wearing Motorcycle jeans and a leather jacket is great in summer but there is still that little bit between the two items that get left exposed to the elements. This belt is absolutely perfect and is nice and wide to alwas cover the area. Perfect comfortable fit as velcro is strong and fully adjustable. Highly recommended.
