Cleaning your bike is not like cleaning any old piece of metal (thankfully). These five gloops will help you restore that shine and pride
If you can remember what real bodywork polish used to be like you will love this, its been a long time since I have found/seen a product like this available retail. Just be incredibly careful and sparse in its use, a tiny amount on a rag gently around the scratch and rub on the tank of my V7 was all it took to completely remove those marks. Honestly, one of the best products I have come across in years.
In my experience: 95% effective on minor scratches to clear laquer finishes. 50% effective on reducing appearance of scratches reaching into topcoat. 0% effective on deeper scratches into basecoat or plastic below. Works extremely well on 'solid' plastics inc. white plastic bath (using old electric tooth brush to polish out!), also with buffer on M/C screen, VW Golf headlights etc...since on solids you can repeat the application time and time again. Not a miracle product but I will always keep some in the cupboard as for the price you have nothing to lose by giving it a shot.
removes light scratches with minimal effort
Was effective for what I purchased it for, which was a line of thin scratches on the fuel tank. Don't expect miracles as it can only do so much but it's useful to have on the shelf for those unintended scuffs/bumps.
I had a few light scratches on my Street Triple that my bag had rubbed against, decided to try this out and it got rid of them, really glad I got it, thanks SBS
Very easy to use and really does show good results with little effort. Good value for money. SBS great as usual.
I had a scratch on my visor and some scratches on my helmet. In a bike shop I was told the scratch on the visor was too deep to be polished out. E8 scratch remover came out top from a google search and sportsbikeshop was my first choice provider. My scratches have disappeared.
Good on small scratches to keep bike or car in good nick. Recommend this item.
Thought I'd apply this to the seat cowl and tank of my black CBR500R as there were some faint superficial scratches. Cant honestly say there was much difference when I was done. Would I recommend? Probably not.
Motul scratch remover has been formulated to remove any superficial scratches from any painted surfaces such as fairings and helmets.
We would not recommend this for mat finishes.
