The product is celebrated for its economical use, as a little goes a long way, though care is advised to avoid brakes. Additionally, customers express satisfaction with its performance compared to others.
Great for protecting against rust and corrosion
I’ve used a number of different products over the years to stave off the effects of winter riding on my bikes. I’ve been using this for a few years now.
No rust, no flaking engine paint no oxidation of metal fasteners. My bike is used through the winter and no sign of corrosion. I mostly apply it with a cloth and for difficult to reach places I spray it with a fine spray. My only negative would be that the spray bottle supplied is not great so I use a different one.
Fantastic product and usual first class service from Sportsbikeshop.
Wd- 40 on steroids
This used to be my go to anti corrosion product but I now use XCP as it provides the same if not better protection and is much easier to apply in aerosol form.
Been using this on my bikes for a few years now when they're locked up in the garage over winter as well as the odd dry winters day un. The bikes show no sign of corrosion so far, it's also easy to apply I sit the spray bottle on top of a radiator in the house to warm up the liquid a little and it then sprays nicely on the bike or a rag. Good stuff and lasts ages.
I've been using ACF50 for some years now but in an aerosol can, it doesn't spray very well but the product is fantastic for protecting against rust. I got a compressor and spray gun recently so I bought the bottle version. It now goes onto the bike perfectly and gets into all the difficult to reach parts. I highly recommend it.
Works perfectly you can see the rust getting removed only downside is that lill spray bottle is awful it doesnt work just go on amazon buy a spray bottle and tip it in trust me.
Just a bit disappointed by the spray bottle as it doesn’t vaporise the product very well.
The spray adapter makes it much easier to apply the product to your bike. I find it helps to put it in hot water first to loosen it up.
Have used ACF50 for years, it is easy to apply and does exactly what it says on the tin, a fantastic product. A1 service from Sportsbikeshop as always.

Does wot it says on the bottle
Renowned for providing protection against corrosion, I bought this to protect my new BSA gold star legacy. I live in Scotland and the roads are regularly gritted with salt, so I feel confident that I can ride earlier in the season without risk of rust.
I bought this recently due to sheer amount of rain we've had this year, being an every day rider my bike has started to suffer.
Be sure to warm the bottle in warm water for 10minutes prior to spraying to aid flow into the nooks, crannies and electrical components.
After leaving overnight buff off with a cloth and next to nothing sticks to it now, leaving the bike cleaner and dryer!
This is a fantastic product and at a great price
Quick delivery and good product
Brought to protect my bike for winter. Make sure you warm this up before use. Leaves the plastics looking like new.
Great product, prefer this to the can.
This 32oz bottle of AC50 will do many motorcycle applications so it should last for years.
Its the first time that I have used it so I wont know how effective it is at stopping corrosion for some time , but it is a well respected product.
Originally designed to protect aircraft from corrosion, ACF-50 (Anti-Corrosion Formula) is now available to motorcyclists. Aviation products have to meet rigorously high standards and ACF-50 not only meets these but has been 'approved for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, electrical systems and electronic components'. The US Navy carried out tests using ACF-50 on the jets on their Aircraft Carriers and now use ACF-50 all the time!
Forms an active ultra-thin, clear film that kills existing corrosion cells, and will protect your bike against new corrosion forming. Use on heads, cooling fins, throttle linkages, brake cables, battery terminals, voltage regulator, suspension, engine components, torsion, bars, fuel control units, fuse box, swing arm, relays and connectors, undercarriage, chain, ignition switch, security systems, FOBs and more! ACF-50 can be sprayed on, wiped on with a rag, or professionally fogged for complete protection.
Use ACF-50 anywhere, except the brakes, on your bike including the engine and exhaust (will smoke on first start and burn off down pipes but still slows down corrosion process). Safe on paintwork, most rubbers and brings up black plastic trim a treat. ACF-50 contains no water and is approved for electrics so spray directly into electrical joints and components where it will prevent corrosion induced failures and high resistance joints. Works well at stopping dirt, mud and salt from sticking. You can come back from a winter ride with the bike 'white with salt' - a quick wash off and it's gone with the bike still protected.
ACF-50 is not water soluble, and so water will bead on contact. It creates a "sacrificial layer", once the beading stops it will need to be re-applied.
We can confirm that 32oz is equal to approximately 900ml and the item is supplied with a spray bottle as shown in the listing.
