Updated leads are much better quality

Had problems with previous Gerbings leads breaking as the were weak twin core wires but this lead is now much more robust and less prone to damage. Quick delivery by Sportsbikeshop which helped for those cold winter days.

Seems well made, a little shorter perhaps than expected. The jack works well with Optimate waterproof seals. I would have preferred a straight plug rather than the right angle, that way it could also be used with a seal.

Only 4 stars as not yet used.
Distance from my power socket to my controller in my jacket pocket has been increased by this.
I like that the cable is coiled up should do the job when connected up

Prevents pulling connectors apart when dismounting or standing on pegs. Jacket leads too short and battery pigtail lead no longer needs the faff of folding it up to prevent falling on hot engine.Appears of good quality.

Gerbing 12V Coil Cord Extension Cable

The Gerbing coil cord extension cable is an accessory that is specially designed to provide additional cable length between the battery cable and our 12 volt Gerbing heated clothing. To connect the Gerbing 12 volt heated clothing to a vehicle you will always need a battery cable or a BMW/Hella plug. The coil cord extension cable can be connected to both accessories.
Connect the right-angle plug (female coaxial connector) to the battery cable and the other straight plug (male coaxial connector) connects to the 12 volt Gerbing heated product or to a temperature controller. The Gerbing coil cord cable has a curled length of about 50cm and stretched it will be around 100cm. In short, the Gerbing coil cord extension cable is very pleasant to use when you have a shortage of cable length, because you have enough cable length and you have no bother of too much cable.
Can be used with bike battery hook-up or a Gerbing 12V Battery Kit.
