The label inside your boots will tell you about what tests they've gone through, and how they did. Here's how to decipher those labels for yourself...
I'm a solid UK 15/16, but sports boots don't go that big. They make these in a 50 and they feel a bit roomier than other 50s I've tried.
They're nice boots - Flexible and light. The hard plastic bit at the top of the shin pokes out a long way though and catches on trousers and seems to be just aesthetic.
I’m a bit particular with some riding kit. Boots and gloves being the worst to buy.
I had tried on lots of different boots. And finally tried on these.
They were immediately cosseting my foot. Comfortable and good to go from the moment of purchase.
Which was handy as the next day I left on a trip to tour Normandy in France with a friend on motorcycles.
We rode about 300 miles a day on average. And spent a great deal of time on foot visiting historic museums and old fortified installations. .
Thus a fair bit of walking. In motorcycle boots. New motorcycle boots.
Not a single blister
Yes they are not a comfortable as trainers to walk around in.
But these are great. They were not waterproof. (And boy did it rain day one). But wear goretex socks and jobs a good un. And they dried easily too.
Overall great boots. Comfortable. Protective. And not overly hot.
Dislikes.
The white plastic protective parts mark really easily and discolour easily. But that made them look used and ally quicker.
These boots are big enough for my large feet and seem to be comfortable to walk around in as well as on the bike. I don’t know if they’re waterproof yet, but I’m very happy with them.
I tried on several other boots at sports Bike Shop in Boston and finally settled on these.
I've always wanted a pair of good quality boots and these are amazing! As always amazing delivery and amazing prices
These boots are nice quality and less fussy than the Sidi boots I also considered. Easy to get on and off and look great when on the bike.
Very comfortable boots straight out the box, my feet are average width and between a size UK 11 and 11.5 and a size 45 is perfect they hug the foot nicely but not too tight to be uncomfortable. The foam panels on the front and back of the boot allow for a decent amount of ankle movement to operate the controls without
overstretching and flow air nicely. Also like the ankle brace on the outer side of the boot, prefer it's compact design compared to the big hinge mechanisms on my RST tractech evo 3s. Very happy with these boots and the excellent customer service from Sportsbikeshop and next day delivery even up in the Scottish Highlands.
