Fantastic headset for my 2019 Goldwing

Great product which we have to replace our SENA S20 Evo’s. The sound quality is amazing, the ride glow at the side is fun. Integrated into the Goldwing with CarPlay and a passenger. Also integrated with my Garmin Zumo XT2 and works flawlessly. Immediately connects with the bike and no issues whatsoever. Expensive but a great headset

Everything it says on the tin and more. But for me it’s too techy. Trying to remember how to achieve every setting etc and also having to use the app is a bit of a pain but the flip side is that actually makes things easy as well. So it’s sort of catch 22. Overall I’m really happy with it. Great to finally be able to talk to others with Kardo kit through Bluetooth. But none of us have been able to work out why the mesh doesn’t work between our units. The SENA seems to be far easier to use and set up than the Cardo.

Better than expected

I've grown to know that intercoms were never great products. Hidden menus, weird buttons combinations, headaches to connect with multiple riders. I bought a Cardo Pactalk edge and returned after 2 days, because they squeeze in smart features that no one asked, like voice controls for radio.
But I have to admit I've been much impressed by this sena. It's smaller than my previous 30K, snaps in place with magnets, and I didn't have to purchase an additional mount kit as it already comes with 2.
Only downsides: I preferred the wheel on the previous versions, it was easier to operate with gloves.
And don't expect too much from the embedded light.

A very good intercom and bluetooth device.
I have upgraded from a Sena 50S to the new 60S, the 50S was a good bit of kit but the 60S is even better, clearer sound and great pick up from the mic.
Spare speakers and mics, to allow you use it on more than one lid, great idea.

I bought this to fit to my John Doe One helmet. It looks the part (nice having the interchangeable facias), and the audio and comms work very well. Battery life seems impressive too.

Works without fault

Has good features and I had no dramas getting it to work with iPhone and aoocci bm7 car play system. Only thing I have to do is put my Apple Watch on airplane mode until headset connects to phone and aoocci to make sure Apple knows to send audio to headset rather than watch.

I paid a bit more for the 60s, because my research suggested it was by far the best comms set in the price range.

They are not far wrong, but was a little disappointed with the noise cancellation.

What is perfect?? Perhaps there is no such thing as

I am certainly not unhappy, but slightly disappointed due to cost of the 60S.

Does exactly what I needed though voice commands can be a bit hit or miss Great to have two mounting clips, microphones and headphones as it means I can switch easily between my road and ADV helmets.

Superior connectivity and sound quality

The 60S has had something of a difficult launch. Early units had issues with the AI noise cancellation which resulted in voice comms breaking up over approx 45mph. My son had this issue. However, Sena promptly replaced his units and now all is well. I bought this to be compatible with him and his new vlogging set-up (the Sena 60S integrates natively with the Insta360 X5 camera) and I'm delighted I did. I'd used Cardo Packtalk Edge for years. This is superior. I used to joke that the Cardo connected to my 2022 Goldwing second time every time. Connecting to Cardo group members would sometimes be a bit clunky. The Sena connects to the bike instantly every time. It connects to our mesh group instantly every time. The battery life is superior to the Cardo. I can ride with my flip front modular helmet visor open, chin piece up at high speeds and comms remain crystal clear. The wind noise is eliminated by the AI processing. It used to get difficult to hear the Cardo at motorway speeds. The sound quality is amazing. I ride with Ultimateear SoundEar Pro ear buds, connected via the 3.5mm jack. The sound quality from the Sena when playing music is concert quality! Overall, I'm pleased I switched to Sena.

It's a bit bulky, but it has great audio quality.

This is my third Sena unit, and what an upgrade in sound quality and loudness, much louder than other models. I previously had SMH10 and Sena Outrush R.

Sena 60s - Disappointing product

Sena60s ordered online from SPORTSBIKESHOP. Best price, great customer service. Delivered following day. Would definitely recommend retailer.
Sena60s unit used for 1st time last week on a group trip to Scotland. Very disappointed with sound volume. On mesh the volume kept lowering so I could hear others. Had to constantly used jog wheel to increase volume level. Phone volume had to be adjusted each time I made or received a call. Unable to hear the Sena voice prompts unless stopped. Have put a ticket in to Sena asking for their support. Been asked to set the volume then tape the jog dial in place to see if this helps identify the fault. Not overly impressed with the product so far. My wife was using my Sena 30k on the same trip and it worked perfectly throughout.

Excellent audio quality

The build quality os the 60S is great; its a pretty hefty unit for what it is, but not so big that you feels its weight once mounted onto your bike helmet. It comes with a variety of mounting options, and a spare set of speakers too. The RideGlow animated lights on the outside of the unit are a bit pointless in the sense that you never see them! I initially had a bit of trouble getting the pairing to work to my GPS as the configuration menu options weren't appearing - if you have this problem too, do a factory reset along with a fault reset and that fixed it.
Battery life seems great too; I've used it on a few rides and theres still a lot of life left in it.

Multitasking on a Motorbike

Very impressed with the Sena S60S. Having had on bike comms for several years ( a cheap but functional system) my biggest frustration was being unable to have Sat Nav and Comms working simultaneously. I always had to manually select one or the other, then sometimes the Sat Nav would cut out the comms just when I needed it to work. This is all solved with the Sena S60. I can have Sat Nav guidance audio, comms and music all working and it all works together seamlessly. Also the Mesh works really well, especially in Mesh 3.0 mode where so far I have been unable to exhaust the range....I know it has a range just haven't found it yet! I have used it with some friends in Mesh 2.0 mode and there is a noticeable range drop off on that, probably around 4-500metres but was able to make it work acceptably. Plenty of options for mounting and a fair selection of additional mic's and fittings come with the units.
On the negative side someone needs to explain to me why it's cheaper to buy two individual units over a pair in a kit, and also I have had one unexplained switch-off which caught me out... Not sure if I have somehow inadvertently managed to power it off or if it is some software glitch. (there was no audible warning it was powering down- it just suddenly became apparent it was off) Will for now put it down to user error as it has happened only once.
