Managed to connect with the SAE to a plug bought for the Aux output on my Shotgun and an old lead I had left over from a Solar Charger connected to a plug I bought to connect to the Aux. The shame is the SAE does not come with both SAE plugs which would mean if you do not have a spare stripping the lead back to connect the Aux lead plug directly. Would be much nicer if they also offered a lead with bare ends slightly cheaper.

Description
One end of the cable Kit connects to the charging module on your motorcycle mount via a low-profile, waterproof inline connector. This ensures maximum weathertight performance in the slimmest package possible, and also ensure that all charging cables meet the power needs of the mounts. On the other end, the cable Kit connects to a USB-C, USB-A, or SAE power source on your bike. Most newer bikes have one or more of these power sources natively integrated. For older bikes, you may need to install a 3rd party SAE battery harness (this or similar), commonly used as a quick-connect for trickle chargers or other accessories.
SAE Cable Kit users will need to unplug their charging module when the bike is turned off to avoid draining the battery.
