Basically easy to fit and left it at that, couple or so weeks later got bike out to go for a jolly and sh*t the battery is flat as a pancake. No issues prior to fitting so it can only be that. The battery is a lithium, whether that makes a difference? So there you go.

Very robust design, easy to fit, I wired it into the switched live on the bike so when not on it was Not drawing anything from the battery.

Simple to install as standard. Hook it up to your battery, route the cables as required, and you're good to go.
I opted to snip off the ring connectors and power it via my Oxford Junction Box instead as I was concerned about battery drain when leaving items plugged in (I couldn't seem to find anything in the literature about whether Oxford have rundown protection built into this unit).
Build quality is fine, if not exceptional. There's a nice rubber cap that fits over the socket when not in use, but it would have been nice to have an additional rubber O-Ring seal inside the connector for that little extra protection during monsoon conditions. Not a major issue if you can position the connector in a sheltered area of the bike.

I suspect that you could find an exact copy of this product on one of the Chinese dropshipping sites for a lot less, but I prefer the peace of mind that comes with the Oxford name, and I'd always choose SportsBikeShop for my bike equipment whenever possible.

Works! Charges my phone and is future proof. The only problem is that the length of cable from the USB c socket to square box (see picture) is rather short. So I almost couldn’t fit it where I wanted while keeping the box under the seat. I can’t comment on idle power consumption because I relied on a Thunderbox for installation.

Much better than my old cheap ebay special.

The port is actually just a rubber cover over the top of a cable, this can be removed which makes threading it into small places easy.

The black box isn't waterproof so I put some electrical tape around the edges to keep out any water when I wash the bike. I don't ride in wet weather so can't comment on how long it'd last if you're an all weather biker.

Like another reviewer I wired mine to a thunderbox and fed it to the handle bars. Easy to fit yourself. What I liked was that it had zero drain when the engine was switched off which the USB A type doesn't have, apparently! Used only for charging my mobile on the move.

Very good product does exactly as you'd expect. Only minor gripe is the charging port and the rubber housing aren't attached so the housing can slide along the cable protruding the charging slot.

Bought to go with my quadlock so I can keep my phone charging while traveling using Google maps.
Was easy to fit and appears to be good quality, plenty of cable to go from the battery up to the handlebars.
