The hip protector is very good quality and the price was brilliant.
Delivery from Sportsbikeshop was extremely quick.

I bought these as I initially wrongly purchased some other Alpine Stars hip protectors. These attached fine to the velcro pads in the textile trousers, and can hardly be felt when being worn. Luckily not tested in anger yet. Pleased with them.

Reasonably easy to fit, don't know how effective they will be until I come off the bike!

They fit well but you have to careful when putting the trousers on. The pocket supplied makes a nicer finish

Simply follow the guide which comes with the alpine star jeans. It will recommend which additional protection should be used for your jeans.

These fit onto the strong velcro patches inside my Missile leathers and my Patriot winter trousers (both Alpinestars), replacing the worryingly thin bits of PU foam that come as standard. Just as comfy as the originals and will probably fit other trousers too, as they are a standard-ish kind of size and shape. Just need to sling myself down the road, then I can tell you if they work. (They are classed as Level 1, by the way.)

Pants with them inside, really digs into you when riding, not comfortable at all. Maybe bigger pants but then legs would be too long, pants fits perfect without .

Disappointing that it just Velcro's on to the inside of my Andes V2 trousers rather than fits in a pocket as per the chest and back protector in my Gunner V2 jacket. Time will tell if this is really a problem or not. Maybe other trousers take a different approach to fitment.

Brilliant product, you can tell straight away that you have far more protection with these inserts.

Bought these for a pair of Alpinestar trousers, had to change them for RST and the pads fit perfectly in the pockets provided.

Added this protector, size large to my Alpinestars Valparaiso 2 Drystar Pants, size Medium.
The hip protector fits into the trousers perfectly. The protectors provides far better protection compared to the flimsy foam inserts that was included in the trousers. Hopefully I will not have to test the product.

As previous reviewer says "useless foam ones" now removed and proper protection for hips. Cloth cover a good idea, wear in my textile trousers.

Arrived promptly as ever from the first class Sportsbikeshop, removed the useless foam ones in my Alpinestars trousers and these fitted easily. They come with a cloth cover you can put them in which also has velcro fastenings but I don't need them as I always have something on under my leathers. Managed to have to try them out yesterday as I toppled on an adverse camber and went down. All fine! Not a bump or bruise on my hip which I landed on. Excellent!!
