Alpinestars SMX-S Waterproof Boots - Black

These were my first set of motorcycle boots. Very impressed with the quality and fit. I went for half a size up so I could wear two pairs of socks, especially in the colder months. To be fair even with one pair of socks boots fit great and are kept nice and warm.
Overall very happy with boots and service. Value for money

Having worn Alpinestars SMX boots for some years now I have always been delighted with their comfort and robustness. These are my first waterproof version and they are just the ticket! I must add however that they are not as flexible when it comes to walking in them, this is probably not surprising due to the waterproof layer. When changing up gears on the bike you also have to allow for this. Maybe with time and use they will become more supple.

Not amazing to walk around, but super comfy on the bike

These are very comfortable to wear straight out of the box. I only wear Alpinestars now.
They now include an inner sock liner which does make them harder to get on and off. I’m sure they will get easier as they wear in.. these boots are great to ride in and recommend them especially at the price.

Replacements for my old Alpinestar boots of 16 years,they finally gave up. These were the closest match and fit perfect.

Haven't had chance to see how water proof they are but my rating is based on how comfy they are for my problem wide feet (I went up 2 sizes 44 to 46) but how easy it is to order and return wrong size goods through SBS. Its just such good service

First time worn I rode into the city centre where I had things to do, involving a lot of walking. The boots where so comfortable it seemed untrue. I always have problems with the fitting of footwear but these were like slippers. They feel good on the bike too. I feel I'm going to have a love affair with these boots, they are so well made, perfect.

Had the predecessor to these for many years but they were getting like trigger's brush so treated myself while on offer. Great boot, brilliant fit & the quality is second to none.
A great winter & summer boot.

This is my third pair of Alpinestar boots. They are always super comfortable and are great quality. I had my last pair for 5 years and the only reason for the change is the soles have worn out.

These are the 2nd pair of these boots I've owned and can't fault them. Proved to be waterproof in torrential Scottish weather numerous times, very comfortable walking around as well as touring on the bike. Decent armour protection for piece of mind too.

Awkward to take off. awkward Velcro side bit. Very comfortable to wear though and waterproof so far.

This is my second pair of Alpinestars boots and as the first pair were super comfortable for all day riding I would expect these to be the same.
Very well made offering good protection.
I note that some reviews have said that the boots are not totally waterproof but this point I cannot comment. As others have said go for one size up as the styling of these boots are not over generous.
