Many appreciate the comfortable fit and ease of use, noting that the small insertion tool enhances proper placement. Users highlight the earplugs' durability and the convenience of the carry case. Although performance varies for some, overall satisfaction is high, with the earplugs often preferred over both disposable and other reusable options for their balance between protection and awareness.

Do what they're meant to

The soft and flexible material these are made from makes them extremely comfortable, and you can't feel them when in place. To work best, they need to be fully inserted into the ears, and the insertion tool helps with this - however they can be difficult to extract if the small 'antenna-like' protrusion is positioned at the bottom (near your lobe)

Astonishing!

I simply did not expect how two small rubber plugs could transform my riding experience.
The noise from the engine is markedly reduced but not in a such a way as to either diminish the riding experience or completely mute important road and vehicle noise and information. Nor do they disrupt the sound from my Bluetooth headphone.

I only wish I had bought them sooner but now don't ride without them.

Made of soft a material that easily moulded to shape blocking out noise but we're so comfortable you would forget they were there. Hearing normal conversation with them in wasn't a problem

Initially sceptical

I was sceptical about ear protection, mainly because I thought I would be less aware of what is around me, plus I thought that I would not be able to hear the engine or my sena intercom/navigation device. However, I tried them because my Dad is a life long motorcyclist and has poor hearing. Some of it is obviously age related but for the sake of £15 I thought they would beworth a try. Verdict-you can still hear what matters-they basically just kill the wind noise. Actually make intercom sound better. Come with neat container which fits to keyring. My only 'negative' is that being small you have to be careful not to drop loose them. Usual great service from SBS thank you.

Rrcently I drove through the Tyne Tunnel on my mororbike and the sound was deafening.
I looked on Sportsbikeshop for reasonably priced earplugs with good reviews and purchased these.
The difference going back through the Tyne Tunnel in both directions within 5 minutes is staggering........very little noise.
I like the small pouch they come in.......I keepit on my bike keyring.
It sometimes takes a few goes to insert them properly but when you do, boy, they are excellent for the price.

Comfortable and quiet

Much more comfortable than foam earplugs which tend to hurt my ears on longer rides.

Not quiet as quiet as foam, but more than enough reduction to protect your hearing and make rides a lot more comfortable.

These are easy to fit and take enough volume off to help keep ears safe but there’s enough that you can hear what’s going on.

Good enough. As far as I can tell it does the job only ones I’ve tried but comfortable for 4 hours consistently wearing. They keep wind volume down while I can still use my pack talk

I definitely notice the difference between riding with and without them, and don't get any temporary hearing loss / ringing after a ride if I've worn these. They can sometimes cause a bit of ear discomfort when removing if you've worn them all day (YMMV), and I don't recommend putting them in with the applicator as if you push them in too far then they can be ineffective. For the price you absolutely can't complain, they're quicker and easier to wear than foam earplugs, with a similarly snug fit and good protection.

Motorcycling is something you want to enjoy. Unfortunately, motorcyclists often experience an annoying ring in their ears and a very tired feeling after a long ride. This is caused by the high volume of wind noise under your helmet. At a speed of 120km per hour, the volume of wind noise averages at 98 dB. This means that you already risk permanently damaging your hearing after just 7 minutes. You will also become tired more easily, due to which you are less focussed in traffic. In order to avoid this, Alpine has developed perfect hearing protection for all types of motorcyclists.
MotoSafe ear plugs attenuate harmful noises without giving a sense of isolation. Traffic, navigation, intercom and the motorcycle itself remain sufficiently audible, thanks to the innovative AlpineAcousticFilters. Alpine MotoSafe is available in different versions with protection adapted to the use. Racing on the circuit requires more protection than touring for example. Alpine MotoSafe ear plugs are made of durable and flexible AlpineThermoShape material. Thanks to the warmth of the ear, the soft material is shaped to the ear canal for a perfect fit. In combination with the soft filters, the earplugs fit perfectly underneath a helmet. AlpineThermoShape material does not contain silicone, ensuring that the earplugs do not sweat, itch or irritate. They can easily be worn all day.
These ear plugs come with a handy pouch that can be attached to a keychain or kept in your pocket, ensuring you will always have your earplugs at hand.
