Good cover, limited durability for heavy use

This is a great cover. Fits well over my Kawasaki Versys 650 with large Givi topbox. The material is nice and heavy, not like some of the flimsy ones you get, so it stays on well and waterproof even in strong wind and rain. My only criticism is that the durability is limited for heavy use. I don't have a garage, so my bike is outside in all weathers all year round. I put this cover on and off every time I ride, which is multiple times per week all year round. I've had the cover for about 2 years but the lower section, which is less heavy duty than the top, is starting to rip in a few places, and the soft inner lining is starting to come away. It still works well enough though, so no need to replace just yet. Could be partly due to my bike as it has a few scratches and sharp bits on it. Also, I'm not aware of any other covers out there that would do better (most would do worse), so I'm still giving it 5 stars. For the price, it's an excellent way to keep the weather and thieving eyes off it (and much cheaper than building a garage!).

This fits my GSA with large top box perfectly, and not difficult to fit and take off.
It’s a bit bulky when you take it off so not sure where I’m going to store it, but seems good quality.

Originally bought the large size for my BMW r1250rt on advice given but turned out far too small. SBS replaced with an XL with their usual speed of delivery.
Product is well made and waterproof. The extra weight ensuring that it remains on the bike in a high wind

Outdoor protection

Very pleased with the quality and value. My second Rainex cover. My Triump Tiger 800 fits snugly into a Large with the top box, however I keep one side pannier fitted, so chose XL this time. It reaches right down to the base of the tyres, which Large did not quite do. Looser fit not, but preferred.

I'm really happy with this cover. It's stronger that the last one that I had and I'm confident that it won't be shredded by the wind!, The fit is good, which means it's stayed on the the bike even in recent storms too. Looking forward to seeing how it copes after being baked in the summer sun (if we actually get any).

Dry as a bug in a rug

Xvs1300 with a tail bag fits to the ground a very good weight so it don't flap in the wind and it's waterproof it replaces a bike flip over canopy which was twice the price and leaked not my first oxford cover being outside all the time it is the best around in my opinion usually last about 3 to 4 years

Durable, thick and waterproof

Coming from the Oxford Aquatex line of covers, I really wanted something more hard-wearing (a nick or tear on the Aquatex ones usually quickly led to gaping holes especially when high winds in play).

I also wanted something which would be gentle on the bike but most importantly: actually waterproof. I found the Aquatex covers weren't much cop and despite treating with several different waterproofing agents, none of my covers stayed genuinely waterproof.

This on the other hand is fantastic - after receiving my XL sized cover, I got it in place immediately to replace the Aquatex one (which is now relegated to "for travel and as a spare" duties) and while I found it doesn't fully cover an R1200GSA's rear end while the panniers are on (which is fair as this doesn't look designed to) it *does* cover the rest quite admirably.

I've had full faith this'll stay on even when not buckled up, but more important is it's 100% as advertised - thick, sturdy material with a soft inner that's delicate on the bike and also completely waterproof.

This has been nicely demonstrated with the rain we've received since I fitted it, which pooled up very nicely on the outside rather than seeping through as it did before.

Absolutely chuffed and have recommended it to others already.

My bike lives outside, I needed to upgrade my old cover which had a habit of soaking up the rain water., and always seemed wet on the inside
This cover is brilliant the rain just beads off and the inside is always dry.
It fits my BMW K1600 with top box perfectly.
Usual good price and quick delivery from SBS
