Measurements for item found correct and fitted my bike
which is always a good thing !
Overall, this is a very good cover - waterproof, good fit, etc. The problem is with the lighter grey fabric on the back that is very thin, much thinner and delicate than the black section in front.
This means that there is a high risk of ripping the light grey fabric when removing the cover, particularly if it gets stuck in the corners of the number plate. Mine has already ripped a number of times - and I am not particularly clumsy. I've now covered the back (number plate area) with tent repair tape, to make it sturdier.
Strange oversight from Oxford though; the thin light grey fabric doesn't seem to be fit for purpose based on my experience.
Fits my Rebel 500 perfect, size medium. Waterproof and storm proof it survived storm Babete sturdy material very pleased with this cover
The cover is fairly heavyweight and good quality, ideal for home use. But its size folded away in its bag is large and its pretty weighty, so not so good if you're planning to travel and space us limited.
Good quality material and fit I had medium for my gts vespa
I have a half faired Suzuki Bandit. Went by the guidance measurements very carefully and opted for the medium cover. Panicked a bit when I put it on for the first time, because it only just seemed to fit, especially with the standard exhaust which is huge. Considered returning it for a larger size but couldn't because it had grazed the chain leaving a greasy mark, so I persisted. After a few days the fabric seems to have lost the initial stiffness and has settled over the bike much better so is actually a perfect fit. If you are worried though, go for a size up. It, doesn't reach the floor so if you want it to you definitely want the next size. I have to say that I think the cover looks and feels like a quality item. It has a little bit of weight to it and the under straps whilst a little fiddly, are a great idea. Also like the holes to pass security chains through. The elasticated hem makes it a little tricky to put on the first few times, but you develop a routine after a few times and the elastic makes the cover fit better. All in all a good product.
Had these covers before and well made. A good fit with this medium size in a Kawasaki ninja 400
I stupidly ordered the wrong size but Sportsbikeshop hand no problem accepting a return even sent me free return label and the woman I spoke to about it was so knowledgeable, but more than that helpful and understanding. She is a credit to your company, thanks again for great service and quality product
Great quality cover for my scooter, fits perfectly with a strap underneath for windy days.
Also has eyelets front & back to put your bike lock through, would highly recommend.
This is a quality product that provides exceptional protection for your bike.
Really high quality cover. I bought this in the smallest size to fit my Honda Grom and it fits amazingly!
Absolutely brilliant cover, heavy duty, 100% waterproof, never let's me down even in the heaviest rain, another great product from the best, sportsbikeshop
Purchased a rainex for my GS which lives outside.
I have owned several Oxford Stormex covers over the years, and although they have kept my bikes in good condition, the seams started to deteriorate after a couple of years.
This rainex is cheaper and appears better quality with higher level of finish.
The only reason I have rated at 4 stars is time is needed to see if it keeps its quality after a few seasons. I expect this one to last longer than previous covers
Bought from sportsbikeshop a few weeks ago, excellent delivery service as usual. Great quality with a thick inner liner which looks like it will protect it from all the elements. Only negative thing il say is I bought the large which is supposedly for sports bikes and nakeds, I have superduke and it fits tightly but if you have a sports bike which are longer then you may struggle so go a size up.
Good, thick cover, fleece lined to prevent damage to paintwork. It's a bit snug but that should prevent it billowing in strong winds. Overall, very pleased with it
Really nice quality and decent fit for un tailored, its just difficult to know what sizes, but the return postage service is brilliant.
covers are good but not tested outdoors just in a draughty shed
Perfect fit for my Yamaha Tracer 900. Had to leave bike out of garage for ten days and we had torrential rain most of the time. Bike kept dry. Good service by SBS and recommend them.
Well constructed medium weight cover. Slightly 'fleeced' inside against the bike to prevent paint scratches. Bought a medium for my CB500F and its a perfect but snug fit as the elastic seams are strong. Best bit is that it's designed so that you can instantly recognise the front from the back. Only really use mine as a dust cover as bike under a shelter so cannot comment how it might cope in really foul wet & windy weather - although excellent quality so pretty confident it would be just fine. SBS service brilliant as usual.
