Richa Safety Belt - Fluo

I bought this as I wanted something that was easy enough to take on and off and doesn’t flap around in the wind. It’s a very nice looking high-vis, it’s for mainly male sizes though. I bought a S in the hopes it would fit just right over my riding jacket with all the armour in but it was still way too long in the straps. I managed to adjust it and sew it to fit my size though and it still looks good. For reference I am a size 10 - 12 female.
It arrived nicely packaged as always from SBS.

Based on other reviews I went a size up to my UK sizing. Even at full tightness this still seems quite baggy. Also it came with one of the straps twisted. It's impossible to untwist without cutting the strap so likely a one off manufacturing issue, but it does mean part of the hi-vis strap is turned to the inside whilst riding. If I bought again I'd go with my actual size and stretch it out, as opposed to going bigger and tightening.

This is a lightweight, compact, and highly visible safety belt — ideal for riders who want added visibility without the bulk. It does exactly what it’s designed to do. However, a word of caution on sizing: it runs large. Most of my jackets are XL, yet I found the Medium belt to be the best fit. I initially ordered a Large and had to return it for a smaller size. For that minor inconvenience, I’m giving it 4 out of 5 stars. Just make sure to test the fit when you receive it.

What a great product allowing other road users to see you day and night. It’s so easy to slip on top of your jacket you don’t know it’s on. Fits really well with all the adjustable fasteners, unlike some other products. Highly recommend?
