Good points:
Great value, good fit (accurate sizing), comfortable all day, cuffs allow for gloves inside or out, warm and toasty with removable inner for warmer weather, flouro stripes for visibility, elbow and shoulder protection.
Niggles:
Side pockets are slightly awkward to use at first but now getting used to them, no wallet pocket adjacent to main zip probably due to there being no secondary fastenings (other than small ones at top and bottom) and the pocket provided on the inside right hand while zipped is not strong enough for loose change. For a short jacket you would expect some vents but these are sadly lacking. As with many jackets there is just an empty back protector pocket.
Not tested:
Will it be waterproof? The main zip is not heavy duty but does appear to be good quality. The lack of a secondary flap or outer zip means there is a strong reliance on water not being able to penetrate this single layer; my guess it will be ok for showers and light rain but succumb in long spells of heavy rain.
Overall:
Great jacket but the compromises forced by the low price point become evident. Had I tried one on in a shop I may have chosen not to buy but nevertheless am happy with the purchase and am happy to recommend it.

Good value jacket, fits to size. Bit disappointed there's no back protector included but for the price can't really complain, thankfully the one from my old jacket fits. Shoulder protection is situated a bit high, makes you look like an American footballer lol.

Highly recommended

I'm between an L and XL in clothing and opted for the XL. It fits nicely with just a T-shirt under, but also has room for a sweatshirt under there too. Even with the thermal lining.
The length is good. Might be short for taller people but there's a good amount of play so as long as you err in the side of caution and get the bigger size you're closer to (don't size up entirely) you should be fine.
The zip is easy to use and Velcro covers at either end stop it from flapping around. The jacket keeps me very warm when I ride to work (usually around 8°C).
Sleeves have Velcro cuffs making it easy to get gloves on over them, or under them. Feels lightweight too, compared to my previous textile jacket.
Very pleased, would highly recommend.

An excellent jacket for spring summer use, the quality of finish is good, the bigger toggle on the main zip is a good idea, the zip can be used with gloves on.

Good looking, simple jacket with Velcro cuffs and two zip pockets. Care is needed when zipping up the main zip to avoid catching on the weather proof liner, otherwise top notch. Riden in 5 degrees for 45 minutes wearing just a base layer and tee shirt, stayed warm enough but not toasty. Sizes are exact to manufacturers guidance imo, if you like to add layers underneath you may need a bigger size. Great service from SBS, very happy

Ordered the jacket on line..was told it would be a few weeks as was out of stock.

Bought this because at 67 years old I now feel the cold, due to price I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near as warm as it is with the thermal lining in it's toasty. Yet another top bargain from SBS
