RST Pro Series Ranger CE Textile Jacket - Sand / Graphite

AA rated jacket with level 2 armour. You'd struggle to find another jacket the same spec for a lower price. I also bought the matching trousers. Haven't used much so can't comment on longevity. I did have to size up from my normal size and all the pads fitted in the right places (elbow and knees are adjustable). Only way could be better is if it was AAA rated but you pay big money for that.

I've been wearing the RST Pro series Paragon 5 for the last 5 years (almost every day, in all weathers, for commuting) so needed to upgrade. It took a few days to get used to the new kit, as it always does but now I am used to it, it feels great. The upgraded armour took time to feel right as I wasn't used to chest armour.
I've only ridden in cold wet weather so far and the waterproof over jacket is superb. My old jacket was a small so chose small again. It was way too tight so changed it for a medium. Fits great. Highly recommend. Just give it a few days to get used to it. Looking forward to warmer weather to test out the highly rated venting system. If you can get to one of the Sportsbikeshop shops, pre book a couple of sizes to try out the fit that best you.

First purchase of a premium product for riding, and oh boy am i blown away.
Look, feel and quality of the item is impeccable, all zippers have a smooth but precise action, and the air flow on a hot summers day with the vents deployed had me chilled all through my ride. Was expecting to be sweltering on arrival, but this was not the case. And it comes with both an inner jacket that can be used as casual wear, and a water proof over jacket, all included.
