Rukka Stancer Gloves – Long-Term Review

I bought these Rukka Stancer gloves for a tour to Spain and have covered around 2,500 miles in them.

They’re made from soft leather and feel extremely well made, with a quality feel that gives you confidence in their durability. Throughout the trip, I used them in temperatures ranging from 0°C to 30°C, including persistent heavy rain. Combined with my Rukka suit, they kept me 100% dry throughout.

As these are summer gloves, they’re naturally cold in lower temperatures, which is to be expected. At the other end of the scale, I found them quite warm above 26°C, although they remained perfectly comfortable and usable.

One thing worth mentioning is that I experienced absolutely no blisters, even after covering those miles, which says a lot about their comfort and fit.

Are they worth the money? Ultimately, that depends on your budget. However, based on my experience, they’re well made, comfortable and have performed exceptionally well in some challenging conditions. I’ve been very happy with them and would happily recommend them.

These are expensive but a fantastic fit and surprisingly warm. They work as a Spring and Autumn glove right up to the point where I'm not wearing leather any more or I have the heated gloves rotated in. The only issue is that the surface between the thumb and first finger is wearing away very fast which I am going to have to talk to SBS about. Shouldn't really be happening with a glove at this price point.

First impressions, light weight not as substantial as first thought but should £270 gloves have to be??? Looks nice quality but yet has to be tested in rain which is why I bought them.

You get what you pay for. These are expensive gloves but as soon as you put them on, you can see why. They really do fit like a glove! They just move with your hand without feeling like they are separate from them. So well made.
