Alpinestars J-6 Waterproof Shoes - Black / Anthracite / Light Blue

Reason for only 3 stars is part of the shoe on the inside digs into my foot and can be very uncomfortable, it's only on the one shoe so it could just be that I got unlucky because putting my hand into them the way the inside is put together slightly different on each shoe and it's that part that digs in. Once worn in it is not as bad but still present.

Feel like normal trainers, but with the protection you need on the bike. Comfortable to wear all day, good grip, and smart enough to keep on when you’re off the bike. Covered a couple thousand miles in them, and they still look great.

Love how comfy these boots are and they feel great while riding.

Comfortable and look good with Kevlar riding jeans! Waterproof too and good sizing (I have to go up half a size with other brands / these are spot on true)

The shoes are sturdy, well-made, and deliver on their price. The tongue dug in at first, but after a few wears (and easing off the laces), it’s completely sorted. They keep my feet bone-dry, grip the pegs and tarmac confidently, and look smart without being flashy. All in all, they’re comfortable, practical, and feel safe. If you want a waterproof riding shoe that won’t break the bank, these are well worth considering.

Another quality product from Alpinesters, the boots are well made, waterproof and comfortable, great for summer, good enough to use without the bike, the pair I bought needed a couple of days to be supple but now their as comfortable as a pair of old slippers, quality leather, sole and have Goretex linning, I needed to buy half a size up though, no problem at SBS as they brought several pairs out for me to buy, I live 80mls away from Boston but wouldn’t buy from anywhere else now, great shop and service.

Build quality and stability of the footwear feels safe and secure . These are new and it’s early days to comment on performance , the price was competitive.

Great comfortable boot looks a lot better with my rst bike jeans than conventional bike boots.
Sportsbikeshop service was amazing as always I had to go a size bigger than usual as they are tight fitting but the exchange was easy as usual.

Exactly what I ordered super comfortable alpine stars boots, extremely well made. Looking forward to doing some miles in them.

This is my second pair of the J-6, as i wore the first ones out. I commute year round and these boots are perfect, very waterproof and comfy on the bike, first pair i bought in 2019 and lasted really well, just began to look scruffy so i replaced them.
These boots look good on the bike and do what they are supposed to.
