Useless and will scratch your wheels

The plastic is extremely soft and if you have hard wall sports bike tyres, you'll easily destroy those on first try. I'm a bit disappointed with SBS as cheapo, generic wheel protectors from Amazon worked so much better.

I hope to see proper wheel protectors for sale on SBS.

View rim protectors as a consumable workshop item. These work well, soft enough not to damage the rim. Hard enough to cope w 400mm long tyre levers.
Expect 20/30 ish uses minimum, before the protector is knacked

Corners could do with being curved not straight as makes it awkward to get rim over corners.
3 needed per set.
Had to stop using them to get tyre off.
They protected my rim.

Made the job very simple. Easy to use, no damaged rims and no damaged tyres. What could be easier? Buy them - worth every penny.

After using the softer rubber variety, I can recommend these as infinitely better. The only criticism I have is that it's easier to change a tyre with three of them. These only come in twos.

The shape and fit is spot on. They snap onto the rim and then slide around as you need. No use saving money fitting your own tyres then damaging the rims. They're inexpensive . . . buy 'em !
