Advice & Guides If it feels like armour in your bike kit then the law demands it is actually proper, protective armour. Here's how to tell how effective your impact protection is...
Easy to fit & wear and stays in place
I bought a pair for both my knees and elbows. The quality seems to be very good but I haven't used them on my bike yet. The straps are a bit fiddly at first but will just take getting used to! Hopefully, I'll never need to find out how good they are!
Great protection and comfort the two securing straps make them adjustable for a perfect fit.
I purchased these knee protectors for a 5 day trip on the bike, so have worn them for a number of hours over this period. They are exceptionally comfortable when riding and also when walking around, to the point where you almost forget you are wearing them! Whilst fairly expensive for what they are, I think overall are worth the money for the level of protection they offer and comfort when wearing them.
Comfortable but I had to place a plaster over a piece of hard Velcro.
For this I've dropped the rating to 4 *.
Great online shop with free returns. What's not to like?
Bought these after a minor crash, these will (hopefully) stay in place next time!
They are a definite improvement over the knee pads in my textile and Kevlar trousers. Fairly comfortable but quite bulky. Couldn't walk any distance with the current pads in.
A "sized" piece of kit vital for those not in the "one size for all category" of some brands. I chose these over the Sport version (the actual knee protector is the same on both) as these with straps not only add extra fixing in position but with the stretch of the sock enable the option to be fitted without your leg in the sock at all, it flattened into the protector and the whole thing sitting on the outside of tight long johns or trousers worn under your motorcycle trousers. . Excellent.
Great lightweight knee protection. Not too bulky inside my In The Boot pants. Nice and flexible. Comfortable lightweight mesh sleeves with decent elastic keepers for above and below the knee joint. So happy with them I might but the thinner version for work!
As with most motorcycle trousers, the knee pads are never in the right place and can be uncomfortable. These pads are the perfect solution. You hardly know you have them on, they stay on the knee and are top level protection. I use them on my road bike and no issues on a recent tour.
I was fed up feeling insecure with manufacturers jeans supplied knee pads feeling more like shin pads I ordered these knee and elbow pads from forcefield, I wore these knee pads for ten hours a day over a four day tour they are so comfy and stay in place, completely forget you are wearing them.
Worn all day long and always remained in position. Highly recommended for wearing with jeans.
Great item , keeps protection where it should be . I have worn them all day in hot weather under aramid riding jeans with no issues . Highly recommended.
Excellent item. Once on you forget they are there. Would highly recommend
Worn as knee protector. Stayed in place. Can hardly tell they're on. No discomfort behind knee. No issue overheating.
I really like wearing anything made by force field and these xv 2 knee protectors are no different.
The fit is spot on and they are uber comfortable.
Knowing I have the best level 2 armour gives me confidence when I ride.
SBS delivery was quick and easy.
Great staff.
