My newish RST leather gloves (with membrane) still leaked in an hours heavy rain. Always used nikwax on my walking boots and is as good as anything, but leather absorbs water, and I'm not sure much will stop that process for very long.
Applied to an old pair of riding boots. Have been caught in mild to moderate rain. Feet have stayed dry so far. Seems to work ok.
Easy to use, leaves no makes.
I sprayed all my leather jackets, gloves etc. Great product.

Haven't really put it to test but it's a back up to help the gloves. It's easy to apply let it dry ... only way to test this is to dip yer hand in a bucket of water see if glove leaks. More peace of mind product.
Order as they had the best deal as usual, combined with a very swift delivery. Then tested it to the max with a ride to "sunny" Scotland. Stayed as dry as if it hadn't absolutely belted down on us
This is good stuff - I treated my gloves and boots before a big trip, it rained, I stayed dry.

Used this on an older pair of winter gloves to improve their weather protection. I tested the gloves prior to use under a tap and the water started to soak into the out fabric. Once dry and after a double application I did the same test and the water just beaded off. Not had to use in real world yet but nice to know it's increase their water relevancy.
I've bought this product several times over the years and if used as recommended it does exactly as it's described. Not just used for biking gear but camping, angling and wet weather clothes too
