Every rider has been caught out in the rain and wished we’d put our waterproofs on before leaving the house.
Customers appreciate the Klim Outlander boots for their comfort and ease of use, reporting that they require no breaking-in period. The BOA lacing system is noted for its simplicity and effectiveness. Many highlight the boots' suitability for both riding and walking, with their waterproof qualities frequently praised. Customers recommend purchasing a size up for the best fit. Overall, the boots are described as stylish, lightweight, and highly supportive, making them worth the investment despite the higher price point.
This is the second pair of Outlander boots for me. They are so comfortable to wear, ride bikes with and to walk in. Have not found a more effective boot in the last 50 years of riding.
I sent to SportsBikeShop knowing I’d be able to try on a range of boots, and in the end I think I tried at least five different boots on. These were the clear winner for me, and worth the extra money. Have since ridden and walked in the and really glad I went for the Klims. I will say the left boot has extra gear shifter protection which does feel hard when walking (it was the only reason for me to hesitate and try other boots), but after wearing a few time it’s starting to soften up. These boots also have a “half size” insert which I used to dial in the fit which I really liked - the Boa lace system is awesome. Feels like wearing slippers when riding! Huge thanks to SBS for putting up with me visiting multiple times to try different boots & sizes.
Personally I don't like a longer boot I always find them hard to put on. Big feet and being more mature is the main issue I guess. The whole front of the boot folds down giving easy access and I love the Boa wind up lace so simple jet effective to use. The only issue I would have and it's maybe my legs is that when closed they seem like they would let water in as they don't close tightly.
Really happy with my Klim Outlander Gore-Tex boots from SBS — they strike a great balance between comfort and proper protection. The leather is tough but flexible, the BOA lacing system is super quick and easy to adjust (even with cold fingers or gloves on), and the Gore-Tex lining has kept my feet dry through a couple of typical British downpours. They’re surprisingly good to walk around in too — not that usual clunky, stiff feel you get with some adventure boots.
Before buying, I’d seen loads of positive feedback and they’ve definitely lived up to it. Quite a few people had commented on how comfortable they are for longer days both on and off the bike, and I’d agree — I’ve happily worn them all day without any issues.
Only minor niggle is they don’t have a gear shift pad on the right boot (so the boots don't look 'identical'), but honestly that’s not really a problem, more just asthetics!
Overall, I’d say they’re well worth the money if you want a versatile, waterproof boot that feels great to ride and walk in.
I absolutely love these boots, they are true to size and are the most comfortables boots I have had. I love the style and go well with cargo pants
Very comfortable, even out the box. Would recommend sizing up 1 size, I'm normally a size 8 UK (42 EU) and I got size 9 UK (43 EU) and the fit perfectly. Best motorcycle boots I have owned
Straight away the boots are really comfortable. The arch is a little high but I've got used to it fairly quickly.
The BOA system is amazing. It makes getting the boots on and off super quick.
You get two additional insoles that you can add to reduce the fit by a half size. This is useful if you find yourself between sizes.
There is enough flex in the foot but it still feels sturdy and safe.
Sportsbikeshop Milton Keynes were excellent. I had bought a pair of Richa boots just under a year ago which had fallen apart. SBS sent them back to the manufacturer for me and a week later they offered me a refund because they couldn't be repaired. The money went towards the Klim Outlander boots which I'm over the moon with.
So Fortnine recommended this boot and SBS was the only supplier I could find. So I ordered them. I then find out there is a long lead in time something like 6 weeks. I was annoyed and frustrated, but I figured I had little choice other than cash out. Eventually they came but beware, the sizing on these is small. I am 10 /44 everywhere except with Klim. Orderer bigger than you would normally. So I seb=nt them back to SBS. This time they had stock and I got them by return. The boots are great, love the Boa and they are just so light weight and comfortable. I find myself wearing them all the time now. SBS are nice people and a quietly customer focused. Working away in the background to get what you want as soon as they are able. Perfect.....eventually.
straight out of the box these boots are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn in 50yrs of motorcycling quality looks superb and very robust Very happy with my purchase and great service from Sportsbike shop as always
Goretex liner failed after 9 months of light use in both boots. After returning them, they were sent back to me and I had to raise a claim with Goretex myself which seems wrong as they were less than 12 months old. Not worth the £300 price tag.
Fits well. BOA is so easy to use. Sportsbikeshop is quick and simple.
As other reviews have stated. Comfortable from the getgo, worm in a days long ride and stayed dry on the inside. Purchased a size bigger and spot on for sizing. Expensive but you get what you pay for!
I purchased a pair of Klim Outlander Gore-Tex boots in Castlerock / Petrol along with Klim Latitude jacket and pants, and Klim Adventure Gore-Tex short waterproof gloves and Klim Dakar Pro lightweight gloves in advance of a tour down through Spain and Morocco and back.
After now covering over 3,500 miles in these boots and gear, I am delighted with how they have performed.
They are extremely comfortable from the very first moment you put them on - there was no need for any wear-in period.
The BOA lace system is fantastic! It works amazingly well and is so quick and easy to use. I have never had boots with these on before but I loathe putting other zipped boots on now after enjoying the BOA system!
These boots are completely waterproof, yet still feel comfortable in hot weather. I've ridden through hours of rain and storms and I've never had even damp feet. I've also ridden through 40+ degree heat and they never felt uncomfortably warm.
Given they are short and have hiking boot like styling, they are also very comfortable off the bike.... and they look great too!
Overall, I can highly recommend the Klim Outland Gore-Tex boots.
The most comfortable motorcycle boots I have ever worn. They are small sized so I bought size 50 I normally take a 46 or 47. I haven't worn them in the rain yet so can't tell how waterproof they will be. Where the opening comes together the the fabric that joins the boot to the tongue is quite low sow may let in water. But as comfortable as any hiking boots.
Great boot, comfortable out the box, easy on and off. I went for a size up and they fit perfectly. Highly recommended.
I'd got into a bad habit of putting on trainers to ride and these changed everything. The self-tightening twist is perfect, the size was spot on to what I was expecting, they are supportive and feel like a normal boot
Great boot, comfortable straight out the box. True to size and great quality product
Designed for high end performance both on and off the bike. The Outlander brings motorcycle protection to the comfort of a waterproof hiking boot. Featuring footpeg support, discrete protection and a waterproof Gore-Tex membrane.
