Klim Outlander Gore-Tex Leather Boots - Stealth Black

I purchased a pair of Klim Outlander Gore-Tex boots in Castlerock / Petrol along with Klim Latitude jacket and pants, and Klim Adventure Gore-Tex short waterproof gloves and Klim Dakar Pro lightweight gloves in advance of a tour down through Spain and Morocco and back.

After now covering over 3,500 miles in these boots and gear, I am delighted with how they have performed.

They are extremely comfortable from the very first moment you put them on - there was no need for any wear-in period.

The BOA lace system is fantastic! It works amazingly well and is so quick and easy to use. I have never had boots with these on before but I loathe putting other zipped boots on now after enjoying the BOA system!

These boots are completely waterproof, yet still feel comfortable in hot weather. I've ridden through hours of rain and storms and I've never had even damp feet. I've also ridden through 40+ degree heat and they never felt uncomfortably warm.

Given they are short and have hiking boot like styling, they are also very comfortable off the bike.... and they look great too!

Overall, I can highly recommend the Klim Outland Gore-Tex boots.

The most comfortable motorcycle boots I have ever worn. They are small sized so I bought size 50 I normally take a 46 or 47. I haven't worn them in the rain yet so can't tell how waterproof they will be. Where the opening comes together the the fabric that joins the boot to the tongue is quite low sow may let in water. But as comfortable as any hiking boots.

Great boot, comfortable out the box, easy on and off. I went for a size up and they fit perfectly. Highly recommended.

I'd got into a bad habit of putting on trainers to ride and these changed everything. The self-tightening twist is perfect, the size was spot on to what I was expecting, they are supportive and feel like a normal boot

I was looking for a short boot and a move away from my tall daytona boots.
This looks good, comfortable and very supportive under the arch of your foot.
The fit was good although normally iam a size 12, and based upon other people advice I went with 12 and half, which was the right choice, and expect that if I had the 12 it would have been very snug.
The only niggle was the quality of finish, a little fraying on edge of the tongue that joins to the boot and slight around the toe pad on the left boot, very minor.. however when priced at this level you should expect it to be without faults.
The inner sole is comfortable and does come out very easily, you may want to change if you prefer gel inserts, but nothing major.
I have enjoyed wearing them and due to take them on tour of spain

These boots are out of the box comfy, absolutely no breaking in required. I bought them to replace a pair of boots that had metal eyelets as they had scratched my engine covers. Bery pleased to report that I've had no such problem with these as the eyelets are plastic and low profile . The boa lacing system works really well and is much quicker to use than laces.
I haven't tested the waterproofing yet but feel confident that they'll perform admirably. Only downside is that they are expensive.

As always SPORTSBIKESHOP easy to use website. Very quickly delivered. These boots are a game changer. Very lightweight. Protective extremely comfortable out of the box. I've got big heavy winter boots. These are for warmer months and are just as great walking off the bike as they are on it. Get one size up from your normal.

I bought these boots to replace both my summer riding boots and winter ones.
The service from SBS was first class ordered on the Saturday came on the Sunday despite being a bank holiday weekend.
The boots have not disappointed not tryed them in the wet yet hence only 4 stars they fitted like a glove as I have very large feet always cautious about buying on line they are so comfortable I have just had 3 days in Scotland despite the heat wave they remain on the whole very cool.
As for walking again just like my walking boots from the off didn't feel like they would take a lot of breaking in.
Only thing being short length boot because I am so tall my riding trousers are above the top of the boot so purchased some stirrups and hopefully will resolve that issue.
So all in all yes expensive but I feel so far good value for money quality is outstanding love the lace system so quick and easy to get them on or off

Extremely comfortable straight out of the box both on and off the bike. I did a trip (in the rain) to Wales in these first time out, 620 miles on the bike and over 20,000 steps across two days. Brilliant boots, dry feet and well recommended.
The grip on wet rock is great too, no slips or trips despite clambering around a waterfall.
I bought a size 44 initially but decided these were ever so slightly too small.
Sportsbikeshop sent a size 45 the following day which are perfect and the return process was extremely straightforward.
The boots are first class as is Sportsbikeshop. I recommend both wholeheartedly

Super light, extremely comfortable, great on and off the bike, boa lace system makes it so easy to put on and off, love the arch support. They just ooze quality. I did size up and I'm glad that I did, I'm a uk size 13 and feel comfortable in the largest size eu 49. Why don't more manufacturers make larger boots, would have preferred another size up to wear thicker socks. Overall 9 out of 10 would definitely buy again well worth the high price tag in my opinion
