Great value for money

I needed a slim fitting back armour to fit in a more casual style jacket, so didn't want anything too thick, so I opted for this L1 D3O protector. It's very comfortable and barely noticeable in comparison to my other L2 back protectors. I have given it 4 stars solely because I know you can get L2 for pretty much the same price, but it's exactly what I was looking for.

Can barely tell it's there

I use it as a failsafe in my jacket with and airbag, so it was important to be thin and light. I was not disappointed! It would be great it if was level 2 but since it's a failsafe the level 1 is fine. I probably wouldn't use it alone unless I was just riding around town at low speeds.

Slim and light

Great for lightweight tops. I prefer Level 2 for heavier jackets but this was perfect for a lightweight top. service from sportsbikeshop second to none.

You've just got to trust the R&D department, because these are barely noticeable when fitted. Hopefully I will never find out, but they've got to be better than the bit of sponge the manufacturers used to fit.

Bought to replace the existing level 2 d30 protector in my ancient Klim Badlands Pro. Yes it's a compromise going to a level 1 but its so comfortable, it feels like a new jacket.

Lightweight back protector

I'd bought a Belstaff Crosby jacket that came without a back protector. This fits into the slot perfectly and is also light enough to be comfortable while also providing the CE level of protection
