Just Brilliant

On a recent tour of the NC 500 I just had the jacket as another layer, until I got to Glenshee, wow it cooled down, and that's where this jacket was superb, the difference it makes is massive. Absolutely love it.

Inner warmth

I bought this jacket just before a long few days in the saddle and though it is a bit of an investment, it is worth it. It replaced the outer jacket liner and performed excellently. Even when not turned on it prevented any chills getting through on shorter journeys. On longer runs I put it on the green (lower) setting and I covered a 180 mile run at night in late April without any problems. The red (top) setting is very warm and is definately for the deeper winter cold. Off the bike and it works very well as a outer jacket, blocking wind and taking a shower in its stride.

Well built, quality jacket

Love the jacket, even not powered up it is nice and warm, better than my dainese mid layer so it's now my go to jacket, the fact that you can juice it up with extra heat is awesome, just takes the edge off on those early morning starts without having to take extra layers. Not cheap but worth it. Sportsbikeshop as great as ever, best price, huge selection and quick delivery, perfect.

Transforms cold weather riding

Keis heated jacket A friend advised that buying a Gilet or body warmer leaves the arms feeling even colder than normal. So I bought the full jacket. In itself, this is warmer than most jacket liners and fits close so it doesn't bulk out your outer jacket too much. The jacket feels of good quality material and Keis do say you can hand wash the jacket too. All this with a lifetime warranty on the heated elements must mean Keis really do believe in their gear. In use it feels like heated panels as opposed to individual wires in an electric blanket. Heat is almost instant on the highest setting and way too hot except for the coldest of weather. With panels in the front and back of the jacket plus the arms, it offers decent warming. After some 10 minutes or so, the whole jacket feels warm and snug as the heat disperses across the jacket.. If I had to be super critical, it would be that I feel a panel in the lower back / kidney region would work well as this is often the coldest part of your torso. But it does not detract from the jacket as is, too much. Control is via an easy press button that hangs below your main jacket. In sequence it gives you OFF/WARM/WARMER/HOT. This sits on top of your left thigh and is easily accessible. Once you have it in hand, its easy to click without having to look at it. It does give colour indications for each setting if you feel you need to look at it (And not the road!) Big bonus is the jacket is designed to work wit the Keis heated gloves and trousers. There is integral wiring to the sleeves, where a cable sits in a small pocket on each arm. Open the pockets and then route the cables to hang just outside your jacket sleeves , where your heated gloves can be plugged. Each glove is controlled by the button on the back of the glove. It isn't cheap but this gear transforms cold weather riding. With SportsBikeShop's brilliant speed and order details, plus their no charge returns, this makes it a great buy. Recommended.

Worth every penny

I've bought this for my wife as I've had one for over a year now and I wouldn't be with out it now. She loves how warm and toasty she feels even on very cold days.

Best buy ever

Followed other reviews and got a size smaller than normal XL so opted for L fitted perfect. used first time on long 120 mile return trip in bad weather and only had to use medium setting to keep at a nice temp. Debated on the cost but glad I went Keis now.

Good jacket, one issue

Good fitting jacket, so easy to install the fused connector and the jacket works great. 3 hour ride out 4 degrees no issues with heat. Don't know why I never ordered the gloves at the same time but did when I got back in. Here's the issue. Changed the fuse check jacket on, gloves on. No power to the gloves? Used the Y connector power o the gloves. Faulty sleeve connectors most likely. However I won't be getting or using the heated pants so I am using the Y conector from the pants socket and the two piece set works fine so only a 4 star from me. Not sure if it's a reacuring issue with these.

It Works!

I was recommended this jacket by friends and wasn't disappointed. To date I have only had the setting on Low and it kept me lovely and warm especially on the arms. The jacket is also nicely styled so can be worn when not motorcycling.

Toasty warm

If you buy one of these jackets you won't be disappointed wired mine to bike no problem only needed middle setting I 1 deg so warm had a size down than usual.
