Customers appreciate the top-notch leather quality, comfort, and fit of these gloves, often praising their flexibility, warmth, and value. Many noted the gloves' well-constructed design, some highlighting the convenient features like the visor wipe. While a few mentioned the initial stiffness and the need for some breaking in, they generally found the gloves to be excellent for colder weather. Overall, the gloves seem to provide great performance and durability at a competitive price point.
I bought these recently and worn for the first time yesterday. Very well made and good sensation for controls. It wasn't a warm day but after a short time I had to take them off and swap with my summer gloves. Looks like they're the right gloves for a Scottish winter. Good price and better made than some more expensive gloves.
These have been my workhorse gloves for a couple of years now. Plenty warm, decent feel through the grip, and they've been through all sorts of weather. Very much a winter/early spring glove, but perfect for that job.
These gloves are comfy and feel well made. Good padding over the knuckles is good against the plastic armour. Great fit for me - good length in the fingers - but then that's just my big hands. Feels a bit weird having a wiper on the thumb rather than the first finger.
Great pair of gloves, seemed to need one size up to normal. Warm and comfy. Great price
Brilliant product, they're warm, waterproof and comfortable. After getting used to using thicker gloves these will be my go to for the colder months.
First of all I have not yet worn these on a long ride yet. They are very well made and I am sure they will be waterproof. Really well finished and the only gripe is that they are so well made they are bit stiff. The left thumb where the wipe is suffers from this. They are a perfect if tight fit. I am sure that it will improve with use. Great service from SBS.
Good value for money gloves ... warm, waterproof and a great fit. My only slight criticism is the gloves are quite stiff initially ... hoping they will ease a little with use. But still great value and recommended.
I was impressed at the suppleness from new. Sizing correct, they fit like a glove.
Warm yet not too thick to restrict feeling
Great value glove that ticks all the boxes. They were warm enough in temperatures of 4c & they are easy to get on & off as the lining seems firmly fixed. All leather construction with a 1KP rating is the same as gloves more than double the price.
Can't comment on waterproofing though as I haven't used them in the wet.
Really good for wide hands usually it is difficult to find a pair suits me, in most case my hands won't go in. Really nice gloves, looks good absolutely loved it, but I had to send it for replacement because for some reason the left one was little to small. Anyway I have ordered another pair to see if it will be the same. But gloves itself is impressive and feels great.
These gloves are very well made very soft leather which make them flexible straight away. Not too short so they can go over your jacket sleeve or underneath. Not really been in a downpour of rain yet so waterproofing I don't know. Comes with a visor wipe on the thumb which I found too stiff to use, also should be on your index finger, so I use a bob heath visor wipe, but still are a very good glove
Excellent gloves at a great price. Warm and waterproof, great service from sportsbikeshop again. These gloves are a great winter product.
Quality glove for the price, look good, fairly warm, better than some higher price gloves I've bought
Really well built gloves. Only worn once so far because they are warm. They'll do me well in the colder weather. The protection is suitable and because they are all leather they'll hopefully last.
The gloves have all the features you'd expect from some twice the price. They are warm and proved waterproof on a relatively long journey. My only gripe was that in anything approaching 'warm' weather the internal lining gets clammy from sweating and putting the gloves back on is a challenge when the lining has misaligned itself with the fingers. This 'stickiness' is down to a waterproof lining between the padded inner and leather outer consisting of a plastic liner - akin to the type you'd get in a petrol station. I suppose if you want a more breathable glove you'd need to buy goretex or some proprietary equivalent. I ended up removing the inner lining - keeping the leather outer - which is fairly high quality with knuckle protection and a visor wipe blade.
Bought to replace a pair of Hein Gericke Pitards leather gloves (I look after things and make them last - they must be 10 years old)
Really impressed at the quality of the leather and stitching on first glance. Well shaped and comfortable and most of all, a generous fit at 2XL! Lots of accordion panels make for easy movement too.
I bought a second pair for my other half!
Great comfortable and soft leather gloves for such a great price at just under £40. You just cannot beat that, well pleased with it.
These gloves are easily as comfortable and effective as pairs costing a lot more. Used them on a commute and through cold/wet conditions and they performed well. Very pleased with the purchase
