Seems like the next generation of pads, they're not thick and pre curved but thin and flexible, makes them more discreet and comfortable but same level of protection. Good large size too to actually cover the knee. Oxford quality and value.

I don't know why I hesitated to buy these. They are brilliant, much more comfortable than the typical bulky armour. Can barely feel them in my jeans

They are very very comfortable, but they are not self-supporting inside the pockets of my Oxford riding jeans, i.e. when the jeans are hung up they fold down in a little puddle at the bottom of the pocket that holds them. Easily fixed with some self-adhesive pads.

Much more comfortable than the shaped padded knee protectors that come with most jeans - a lot more flexible and a lot thinner so you don't get the feeling that your knees are restricted. Much flatter fit in the jeans as well.

Bought these to replace the standard knee protection had with jeans. Not as obvious as the coconut shells that were supplied despite providing a greater area of knee coverage and are a more flexible.

Hinterland trouser armour

These fit the Hinterland trousers well and are much more flexible than the slabs of rubber fitted as standard, I also bought the matching hip armour but found it way too small to fill the pockets effectively, may try the shoulder inserts for that application as they appear larger.

I was looking for Knee protectors for jeans and so wanted flat, thin and flexible ones, these are a good match and work in jeans much better than bulky shaped rubber ones normally supplied with kit pre-fitted, long and wide enough and could be trimmed down if needed, could only be better if they were rectangular so you can cut them to the exact shape you need.

So much better than rigid knee protectors for walking around. Seem to be well made and hopefully would offer the same protection although I've a slight concern that they would buckle on looser fit jeans.

These knee protectors are perfect, they are very thin and flexible and fit in my jeans perfectly. They can be cut down if needed too with being thin. They offer the same level 2 protection as the much bulkier as other competitors.
