Yuasa Motorcycle Battery - YTZ12S

I suspect the old one had not been kept charged properly when not in use.
Sportsbikeshop had the exact replacement not only in stock ready for the day following my enquiry but it was on a 15% discount which was a pleasant surprise when I called in to collect it.
Anyone who has a motorcycle knows that consumable spare parts tend to be proportionately more expensive than car parts, batteries are no exception, they have to supply relatively high energy for their physical size.
It came ready charged sat at a measured 12.8 volts ready for use, even a double check on a trickle charge only had the charger work for a few seconds before giving a 'good' indication before I fitted it to the bike.
Does exactly what it says and will work straight out of the box, so I was pleased with the purchase and has my recommendation ?

Fits my 2005 vfr800, never had any problems with yuasa so far.

It's yuasa battery so very good quality as expected. It actually fits 2023 Ktm 890 adventure with no problems.

This was a straight swap for the last Yuasa battery in my VFR which exceeded its expected lifetime so no hesitation in recommending it.
