These are pricey even with a decent SBS discount but you certainly get what you pay for. The build quality overall is top notch and by far the best motorcycle clothing I've owned. Sizing is tricky as when wearing the inner warm trousers you would need a size bigger, this might end up making them too loose in the warmer months which is a little annoying. Your paying for the full kit including the inner liners so I've had to accept a larger size to make the most of them.
The other quite annoying design is the very lower part of the trousers, when putting your legs in the inner material moves down and bunches up around the ankle which is a pain to adjust back up. I've figured out a work around but for such a premium product I feel this could be designed a little better.
Overall I'm really pleased with them and paired with the Jacket looks really smart. I've not tried them in proper rain yet but do feel confident they will keep me dry, that will be the ultimate test as I've never had a pair of MC trousers that don't leak in the crotch area!

Superb trousers with huge D30 knee armour that doesn’t reduce comfort. Braces are a great feature.

Bargain price for a quality Rukka pants

Amazingly comfortable trousers that come with a separate very warm down liner. Just back from 1600 miles touring the Scottish Highlands through a mix of weather including 50+mph winds and torrential rain and these kept me totally dry and warm and all day comfortable on the bike. The padding in the trouser seat makes for a fantastic riding experience. Well worth the high price tag as these are quality kit

Waterproof and comfortable

Purchased alongside the corresponding jacket to make the winter commute more bearable but I now find myself getting the bike out for pleasure rides during the winter as well.

Expensive piece of equipment but worth the investment if you want warmth and waterproofing, guaranteed. The option of the varying leg lengths is also of merit as previous purchases of other brands have often come up a bit short for me where this was not an option. Sizing is accurate in my opinion.

Expensive, but if you can justify the expense you will not be disappointed.

The trousers are brilliant and the down liner is very comfortable and fit over my boots with no issues. I’m yet to wear these in any rain but am confident that they will perform as described. The suspenders are also a really comfortable addition. 10/10

These trousers are a really good fit and feel properly built for comfort. They’re completely waterproof — I’ve been through some heavy rain and stayed perfectly dry the whole time. The linings are soft and cosy, adding a nice bit of warmth without feeling bulky. What I really like is that there’s no need to zip the liners in, which makes getting them on or off so much easier, especially when the weather changes or you’re on the go. They’ve got that solid, premium feel you expect from Rukka, and they do exactly what they’re meant to do — keep you comfortable, warm, and dry no matter what the weather throws at you.

Brilliant jacket. If you are in the market for an outfit of this value then there is no other choice. I have tried lots and none perform or are as comfortable as this outfit. Totally dry, warm and a great feeling of safety with all of the up to date body armour fitted make this the ultimate and best on the market

Super warm with the liner in and definitely dry, liner I think is a bit too warm for the mild days, however easy to remove if too much.
They fit well over the adventure style boots, and take a little braking in to get used to.
The Sizing is a little off due to the liner so I would advise definitely trying out a few different sizes as they come with regular and short versions, as the knee protectors can be in the way when walking with boots if too long.
Overall the quality of these are excellent and in comparison to the price tag I believe these are a great investment as with the right care they will out last any cheaper product
Rukka brand has a great rep and people do tend to continue wearing them way beyond the 6 year mark.
The after care instructions are good and plenty of information in regards to cleaning and proofing.

Extremely comfortable, I tried BMW and Klim but preferred the fit and comfort of the Rukka. Fit and comfort is extremely important! If it’s not instantly comfortable don’t buy! Service from the Manager at Sportbikeshop Birmingham was first class

Saved up for a year to invest in a Rukka Nivala 2.0 Gore-Tex textile Jacket and trousers and what a disappointment the trousers have been.

After only wearing the trousers half a dozen times in fair weather, there was noticeable wear in the natural creases to the outside of both knees, which also coincided with the outer corner of the armour. Concerned that If I continued to wear them a hole would develop, I stopped wearing them and submitted what I considered to be an honest and genuine warranty claim together with photographs clearly indicating where and how the wear was occurring.

The claim was instantly dismissed with an accusation that the trousers had been subjected to “damaging actions” despite clear evidence to the contrary.

The manufacturer also did not respond to my request for materials for me to try and carry out my own repairs.

Such a disappointment and not what I expected and I truly regret purchasing the suit.
