Shoei Clear Pinlock Insert - NXR 2 / X-SPR Pro

This insert is very effective at stopping my XPR-PRO transitions visor from steaming up. It's ultra clear and vastly improves safety. These scratch quite easily, so my advice is handle with care and bend the visor itself to fit it in place, rather than the insert. Couldn't be without this accessory, nothing worse than a fogged up visor!

Helpful staff as always at SBS who showed me how to adjust visor and lens as there was a slight 'leak' causing misting up. All good now Thanks.

Fits really well and is amazing can see where I am going in all weather and with very minimal maintenance it's the only brand I use they have never let me down

This "Shoei Evo" Pinlock seems to be the 120 variant and is incredibly effective. The Pinlock lasted around 25000 miles before I replaced it as it was well scratched as I didn't took good care of it. But for the price it's well worth it.

Not 100% successful, but much better than without. Take care these scratch very easily. Expensive for a small piece of soft plastic.

Easy to fit

The pinlock gets overwhelmed fairly quickly. Especially at low speed 20mph or less. But clears up just as quick once you're on the move. May be an issue with the nxr2 being a sports/touring lid which does vent well once oh the move. As a result this isn't for slow the slow commute and rainy season which is a shame.

My pinlock insert was fitted in the Bristol store by Matt who is a Shoei expert.
It only took seconds and there was no charge. Excellent service well done SBS.. Highly recommended.

I bought this to fit my new NXR helmet. Easy to fit, prevents fogging and the usual excellent service from SBS

I needed a replacement Pinlock visor, because I did not realise how easily it is to scratch them. In fact, only wipe them ONCE with a very soft cloth. This was an easy fix into my NXR 2 lid. Great prompt and efficient service from SBS as usual.
