Shoei Helmets

As a simple Bluetooth headset device that can interact with your phone allowing you to listen to turn by turn Google Maps/Waze instructions or some of your favourite music ... it is ok I suppose. Others commented on the complexities of installing it in the helmet without any instructions. But what really disappointed me was the Voice Commands! Shocking! So bad in fact, I consider it dangerous. It rarely understands any of the commands and naturally I get rather enraged.
When Mesh is turned on, music and Waze instructions are turned down to almost inaudible, except for the first utterance.
I have also got the Sena SMH10 and the SRL Neotec2, so I have experience with Sena headsets. So, to find myself so frustrated with this latest SRL-03 is a huge disappointment.

I bought this to replace my first gen Neotec, and as I've been using an Arai for the last 12 months or so. I found the Arai to be too tight, and I guess just not great for my head shape. Getting the new Neotec 3 really highlights the issues with the Arai. This is very comfortable, a great fit and I love the improvements in noise reduction compared to my old one. The one thing I wasn't expecting, was that I would have to replace my Sena comms unit as it won't fit this helmet. I ended up having to order a Cardo unit that integrates into the helmet. It fits great, is super clear etc, but as I hadn't done enough research about this I didn't order at the time I purchased the helmet so missed out on the available discount from Sportsbikeshop.
