By the time a Shoei helmet leaves the factory in Ibaraki, Japan, it will have gone through at least 50 pairs of hands during its creation. Shoei prides itself on making helmets by hand, and that's one of the reasons why the brand is so highly regarded by motorcyclists all over the world. Shoei made its first motorcycle helmet back in 1960 and has been responsible for a host of world-firsts as it's become one of the world's foremost helmet manufacturers. It created its first helmet with a carbon-fibre shell as long ago as 1976 and can claim to be the first company to develop chin skirting, integrated visor mountings and controllable air intakes to keep riders cool. The range covers everything from sleek urban helmets through to the most advanced racing protection on the planet. Shoei's racing pedigree goes way back to the legendary era of two-stroke Grand Prix warriors like Wayne Gardner, Eddie Lawson and Wayne Rainey. The influence continues today with multiple world champion Marc Marquez wearing Shoei throughout his glory-filled career. When you see the Shoei badge, it's more than a brand. Shoei Clear CJ-2 Pinlock Insert - J-Cruise / J-Cruise 2 Shoei Clear CJ-2 Pinlock Insert - J-Cruise / J-Cruise 2
At first I thought it was too big to fit but with a little care it was fine, there are videos to show the easiest way to fit a Pinlock. On cold days its a must for me now. Although not necessary (you can just remove it) I do have a second visor so I can just change between one with the Pinlock or one without the Pinlock.

This visor is a prince among rider safety items. As well as protecting my most attractive feature (according to my mum) against flies, leaves, stones, midges and wasps it also protects against mild blindness that might otherwise be caused by my admittedly bad habit of looking at the sun while riding. It is the right visor for an NXR2 helmet, which is fortunate as that is the same model that I wear, so I really have no complaints at all. It arrived next day too so thanks SportsBikeShop (even though I don’t ride a sports bike)!

Shoei have actually listened to Neotec 2 owners and the 3 is a near perfect helmet
If you head shape suits Shoei's.
The internal viser being longer is brilliant and how quiet it is is amazing.
Always had a slight whistle/noise from the left hand side, not loud,just there but the blurb about moving the internal visor mechanism higher... It just works ,noise gone
Cannot recommend highly enough - they are expensive - but for me comfort and quietness wins out
