Shoei Helmets

Only used once but noticeably quieter and better ventilated than my Neotec 2. Hopefully the visor seal has also been improved and won’t leak in the rain. Fit seems slightly different, less space across forehead and chin bar is closer. Recommend using the personal fitting service, I didn’t initially as I assumed fit would be the same as my old helmet and had to go back due to pressure on forehead. Excellent service from Sue at Milton Keynes shop. Highly recommend a visit.

Fits really well on the inside and looks good on the outside too. Helmet misted up before attaching the free Pinlock, but since fitting it, it’s never happened. Shame about the double d-ring on the chin strap, should have come with a better fastener for the price. But still worth the money.

Quick replacement visor after my original gained deep scratch. I was very surprised how much clearer the new one was. I'm not sure if this was water repellent product accumulation or minute cleaning scratches but the new one was a massive improvement.

Absolute top draw crash helmet, as you would expect from Shoei. Great clear vision from the visor providing a draft free and condensation free view. Noise levels wind and engine are very good too. Easily wearable for hours at a time with no discomfort or tight pressure points. AAAAAAA+++++++++

Bought the transitions visor and it’s amazing. Fitted it during bad weather so didn’t ride, but thought I’d try it under house lights. Hardly changed at all and initially thought I’d made a mistake. However, first time out in the sun and this thing shifts not to a complete black, but a really dark smoke as you can still just about see in, but whilst wearing and looking at the road from inside it’s not dark at all. Just looks like a clear day without the glare. Reverts to clear in darkened conditions well. Transition times are fast.
Beats wearing sunnys or carrying a spare visor.
