Shoei Helmets

Fit the helmet. Right size. It took a long time to deliver but got it at the end.

Typical Shoei quality both in the product and the packaging. Outrageously expensive but I can’t blame SportsBikeShop for that - they were the best priced option.

With daily use, these Pinlock inserts gradually lose there anti-fog performance over time and replacing them regularly is important for me.
After researching suppliers locally and on-line, I found that Sportsbikeshop have the most competitive prices and by quite a margin.
Add in the free postage (for buying more than one item) and was really impressed with the value for money.

Fits so well in the head (although slightly tight on the first try), confy and with a great air ventilation.
I'd say if you pretend to go on a track day won't be the best choice because it will be too noisy but if you are a city rider, it's just amazing.
The box also brings a few extras which is always good.

Originally I went to Sportsbikeshop to buy a much cheaper helmet. But after trying on the whole shop's stock back catalogue, I realised you really do get what you pay for!
I also opted for the fitting service to make it mould to my freaky shaped swede. This helmet now feels like it was built just for me.. which in essence, it literally was.

With a built in sun visor and quick release strap as standard, and the dark smoke visor and integrated Sena mesh intercom added on top.. there really is not much more you can ask for in a helmet.
Wearing it for a full 7-8hrs is a total problem free experience with no pressure points or sore spots making themselves known. The noise levels are also rather bearable and earplugs are not even remotely required.
