Shoei Helmets

This helmet not only fits my jacket colour and bike but also fits my riding style. It’s elegant and sits so well on my head that there is no movement whatsoever.

Secure and comfortable with plush lining as expected. I measure at 56-57 cm and Shoei size S is an ideal fit. Liking the switch to central visor closure from previous GT Air. A fair investment but reckon my head’s worth it …

Enabled me to move from a Neotec 2 to a 3 without buying a new intercom. Without it, I’d have to either spend another few hundred pounds or forget about buying the Neotec 3. My only criticism is that it does not mould closely with the helmet, sticking out leaving a gap which increases wind noise, so effectively, it’s a compromise. Worth the money, flawed, but better than buying a new intercom.

All you need to know about Shoei is that they are the premium quality helmet for my head. I’ve been wearing them both professionally and for leisure for over 30 years. This one replaced my 2018 Neotec 2. I’m always on the lookout for a new style and cheaper make, but always return for a Neotec. They’re durable, comfortable, work perfectly and are too expensive for me, but at the same time, value for money. 500 for 5+ years safety. Bargain.

I like the fact that it's well made, piece of the helmet visor, to stop the visor fogging up.
