Really wanted the olive ones but only ones in stock in my size were the camouflage ones, Turned out ok as they are more grey than a distinct and noticeable camo pattern. The variety of sizes is a help. On a hot European trip they were good in letting my legs breathe, although felt heavy initially, took a bit of fiddling to get knee armour where I liked it. Leg length just right for me. Washed OK and hopefully will last well - still like the stylish olive ones tho!?!

Comfortable and fit true to size. The quality of these trousers seem really good. Armour was ok, but I upgraded to D3O ghost armour which fitted nicely. Also, pockets are nice and deep!

Fit and feel great. True to size and incredibly comfortable. I wear them all day at work with no issues. Look great on a casual bike. Hopefully I never find out how well they fair in a crash, but I feel confident with the AAA rating and D30 armour.

Very nice Jean. Really comfy on and off the bike.
Still don't really understand how something so thin can be AAA rated but who am I to judge!
Lots of pockets, only niggle is the cargo pockets with the poppers fly open at speed (unless you were on a very very tall bike) as the closures scoop air.
The armour is subtle and fits well. Bit tricky to upgrade it to something thicker if you are wearing these as a slim fit. Really I'd like something thicker but you can't have it all.
They are true to size imo.
Little bit of stretch helps with a close fit.

I bought the Defender cargo pants as a replacement for my previous single skin jeans. I bought them due to their AAA CE rating, stretch material and light water repellancy. I must say they are super comfortable both on and off the bike and the quality looks fantastic so far. Sizing for me was close to normal with me being a 32 inch waist and the size 31 or 32 fitting very well indeed. My 29 inch inside leg was well catered for with the shortest leg option. The armour is unobtrusive too so all in all extremely happy with these.

Just the job .... Great fit, although I went down a size. I'm a 37" waist and went down to a 36" and they're perfect. Very comfortable to wear, armour is all in the right places, although the position can be adjusted. They look just like normal cargo pants, comfortable on and off the bike. The material is pretty heavy but I expected that with AAA rated jeans. I would personally recommend these for summer riding. As usual, great service from SBS.

Worn these only twice but am really happy with quality and comfort. The sizing is pretty good although maybe drop a waist size . Armour is flexible and unnoticeable and look like normal trousers when worn out and about. Highly recommend these.
