Cardo Packtalk Edge Mesh Intercom - Single

I recently purchased the Cardo Packtalk Edge and I'm thoroughly impressed by its performance and overall quality. The sound clarity is outstanding.

The build quality is top-notch as well. The intercom feels solid and durable, designed to withstand the rigors of everyday use. The installation process was straightforward, and the device has stayed securely attached to my helmet. The buttons are responsive and easy to use, even with gloves on.

Battery life is another highlight, lasting for long rides without needing a recharge.

Have to say, great service for great product. For me, spending more really is the best call. Can't find much to fault on the packtalk edge.

The duo pack talk edge is a truly amazing bit of kit. Sound is clear, connectivity is fast and it's so simple to use.

Such good quality in the build and the magnetising effect for the ubit itself fills you with confidence that it's not going anywhere.

It is the best money can buy. Nothing better on the market IMHO.

Delivery was fast, 2 days, and it was packaged well! Definitely worth the coin. If you're thinking about a cheaper alternative, don't do it. Spend the money and just buy this one.

Going on a trip in May with some of the lads so we've invested in these beauties to keep in contact. Work well even when you're no longer in sight.
Only downside is I fitted the second unit to my wife's helmet and now I get no piece when she's pillion. Still got to hear about her mother or Alice down the street !! Maybe I'll forget to charge it. Damn thing just keeps going though

We used Sena sc1a built in schuberth c4 lids, sound quality was very hit and miss, some days sounded like you were dragging a string full of tin cans behind you. Have replaced this with Cardo Edge duo, removal and refitting cardo into C4 lids is easy enough, plenty of you tube vid,s .
The sound quality is so much clearer once set up, mic positioning is very important, as it only picks up what come out of your mouth so has to be very close, to cut down on back ground wind noise, but it works great, still getting to grips with all the other functions, but overall very nice well made and well thought out bit of kit.

I'm touring Europe this year with my wife riding pillion so an intercom is essential really. I also want to hear satnav instructions. My rider group do not use intercoms at the moment but the Edge mesh technology future proofs my purchase should they go that way. Simple to install but as with most things the instructions leave a lot to be desired. Even the YouTube tutorials basically teach you to run before crawling and walking. What swayed my choice, Cardo is waterproof! If I'd bought just Bluetooth I'd have been buying again to get mesh so spending twice. As with any tech it's going to take time getting use to the operations and I'm sure I'll only use some of the functionality. I am struggling to tune into radio channels but that might be down to my location.

These Cardo units seem very well built, simple and sleek design and most importantly intuitive to use. Installation was easy, the included installation kits had everything you could possibly need for any full face or modular helmet. Functions of the PT Edge seem to cover everything, probably the one thing that seems a little "last decade" is the FM radio. In this day and age, I don't understand why these are not DAB? (Perhaps there's a technical reason i'm not aware of?) I've come to Cardo having previously been a Sena user, and yes, my Sena died a wet death, hence my move to Cardo, which is actually waterproof (and so it should be!). And so far, i'm very impressed and wish i'd bought Cardo first time around. The one feature I liked on Sena that doesn't seem to be the case with Cardo is the ability to have an "Open Mesh" channel, so when travelling, if random strangers were on the same open mesh channel, you could often end up having some great conversations as the units auto joined the open mesh group. With Cardo, you have to set a "private mesh" (DMC Group) group, and once set, only those headsets can join the group. Which i'm sure some people will prefer anyway.

Bought the Cardo packtalk edge duo the same time as buying myself a new Shoei neotec 3 helmet.. The helmet is designed for integrated Sena coms, but the spec of the Cardo is so much better plus its easy to use - just ask it to do a function & its done, no need to press any buttons. Easy connection with your mates, listen to music, take & make calls ( I don't but could), chat with the wife, connection with sat NAV when touring. Easy to fit on wife's helmet Shoei full face, a little harder to fit to my flip front - but- there is a kit due out soon which mounts it to the neotec 3 on the integral coms mount. Discounted price (no vat) as purchased the same time as the helmet.

Cardo great. Got one of the best intercom out there in the market. Great connection and good audio quality.

Was wary as to the quality of one of these on the bike but very impressed so far. Music and satnav are great and clear. Yet to try the mesh system chat but have high hopes. I would definitely recommend.
