Cardo Packtalk Edge Mesh Intercom - Single

While it might not be the latest and greatest, this is still a top tier piece of kit. I have the new pro, and picked this up as s second unit. It's almost as good, and significantly better than the Senna I had. Easy to install, good speakers, intuitive button design.

Bought to replace a packtalk slim that had failed.

Was easy to install as helmet had performed indents for speakers. Had to go with the stick on mount for helmet as clip very rigid plastic - previous one was metal and could be manipulated to give better fit. Seems well stuck on so will see how it preforms.

Software/app is easy to use and updates the unit via Bluetooth so no need to plug into a computer.

Just hoping the charging usb port, which has been changed from a micro usb socket to usb c, lasts longer than the old unit did.

I think that I bought the right one, as not only can I do a mesh connection with all my other mates but we can also bring in our Sena wearing mate via Bluetooth- and it was easy to do. Download the Cardo app to your phone and everything does become easy to sort. Would recommend as we are now good to go with Cardo group and ability to bring in mates on Sena

This little gadget has updated my ride. Who knew being connected allowed more riding?

Purchased the Cardo Packtalk edge to communicate with other mates on a ride out. I felt it increased safety and and a big step up from hand signals on our busy roads. Also when riding solo I can keep up with weather conditions and be assess able by phone (some may say this is a negative!) Brilliant product can't fault it!

Very happy with this packtalk the sound from the speakers is great and fits on the side of my helmet easy to use

Superb service at Reading SBS. Edge is great fit for my Klim Pro helmet.

As others have said, excellent audio and connects quickly to the group of riders when in range.

I have managed to get it to connect both to the bike and my phone (plus riders obviously) and have control over my music and nav etc via my bikes controls - I did however need to write a little automation on my iphone as every time my bike gives an input, the audio switches away from the cardo and back to the bike (which doesn't have speakers so is useless). I set it up so when that happens audio is switched back to cardo. This might be more of a phone issue but does resolve it if anyone is having the same problems. The Cardo works as it should and if you're not also connecting to a bike, then it's a doddle.

What a fantastic product the quality is outstanding the speakers are so clear and distinctive, the ease of installation is great and the instructions are simple to follow.

My first time using a coms it's very clear and sound great, easy to use, easy to install, battery life is very good, voice controls little hit and miss but thats no issue to me as buttons on module are easy to use

A very good improvement from the Cardo bold, The voice command's response first time even at high speed's no need to repeat them. Pairing is so much easier and a better sound quality from music to phone calls. The magnetic connection makes life so much better as well no matter if your wearing gloves or not just hold it near and away you go it's a 10 out 10 from me

A great intercom system. after doing lots of research for my first intercom, this seemed to always come out on top. I wanted one with good sound quality and this doesn't disappoint. If you're considering this vs cheaper models, I think it's seriously worth spending that extra bit.

Great bit of kit upgraded from a sena 30 k as a member of my family has a cardo it's a lot easier for us to connect and communicate with one and other a lot clearer than the sena to hear each other

The unit itself developed a faulty battery after about 1 year. I contacted Cardo directly to get this sorted but needed a copy of my receipt so emailed SBS, Tom picked up my enquiry.
My copy receipt was with me the next day and another email offering to deal with the return to Cardo. This made things much easier and ran seamlessly, receiving timely updates.
