Customers say this Caberg Duke X is comfortable, well made, and great value for money. The flip-up design and sun visor are easy to use, and the helmet suits glasses wearers especially well. Several customers also praise the quiet ride, good fit, and included Pinlock. A few mention the chin-bar release and intercom fitting can be fiddly, but overall it feels reliable and practical.
Great helmet, lightweight and quiet even up at speed. Very easy to accommodate an intercom and would recommend
Pro's: Perfectly a snug fit and comfortable
Quiet, but wear ear plugs
Love the pinlock visor insert.
Retractable sun visor is easily operated both ways down and up.
Cons; Flip front button is fiddly when wearing glovesand dont get why they have the "P & J" option
Removable lining is a pain and the instructions to do this are vague.
Comes with entry level pin lock as well.
Despite being modular it’s not very heavy. I find it comfortable and my Cardo unit fits perfectly.
We arrived with only a slight idea as to what we wanted. The helmets on show gave us the option to see what was available easily. When we knew what we wanted, the order kiosks made the whole purchase effortless. Thank you!
Great price helmet at a really good price & a great fit
I had a few specifications that I wanted from a helmet. White, full face with the option for open face, dark visor, comfortable and cheap. These don't usually go hand in hand! I was left to myself in the helmet department and the first one I tried on was wonderful. Shoei, but several hundred pounds! A member of staff asked if they could help, what did I want. I said this Shoei helmet but for £150!!!
They immediately picked up this Caberg. There was a choice of two and I tried them both in my size. Finally choosing the cheapest version. Both were on sale price, both under £200.
Now I've had chance to use it for a couple of weeks I'm even more impressed. It takes a few rides to easily raise the chin and lower properly, but the sun visor half face cover is the best I've ever used, easy to find and use even with gloves on. Well impressed. I bumped into Richard Hammond at Caffeine and Machine and even he liked the helmet!
It fits really well around my smooshy face, and is really breathable lots of airflow and no misting.
Good fit and good product.
Previously bought a Caberg Duke II helmet from Sportsbikeshop a few (too many) years ago. When I decided to upgrade, I went down the exact same route.
Great service/delivery and very well packaged.
Very comfortable and extremely pleased with the helmet -Recommend the lid and the supplier.
The helmet was made well but I found it quite hard to open and close
Nice weight, helmet really comfy with vents and sun drop down easily accessed when wearing gloves
Sportsbikeshop made sure I got the correct fit.
Really nice and helpful staff.
Good helmet feels so comfy.
Generally very happy with this helmet. Does everything I need. Only niggle is the flip up lock is a awkward to use with gloves on,
Fastener under chin seems to be too far to the left making it not quite so easy to release.
I have found it prone to condensation reducing visibility
Easy visor and flip on helmet and sun visor excellent
Excellent value for money. Feels worth more than it cost. Fit was tight at first but this has improved with use. Happy with the purchase.
Tried a few crash helmets, wearing glasses full face didn't work too well, this is so much easier to put my glasses on. Nice fit, comfy and not too heavy
Sorry, we don't have a Sharp rating for this helmet. Both visors are about the same size.
