Superb quality and fits true to size. This is 3rd jacket I tried before the sizing was right. Generous back length so no gap, although I ride a VFR so may be different on a sports bike!

Fantastic Old School Jacket

Great jacket delivered in double quick time as usual. The jacket looks really "old school" but has all the modern bits added. Armour in shoulders and elbows, Great zips and a fantastic liner for the cooler days. Looks really well made and a high quality finish. Perfect for riding my CCM. Fantastic!

Was a bargain as it was reduced. Very solid build. It's quite big and very broad (I am a 48) so not really for casual off bike wear. Very comfortable and I feel well protected while wearing it

An excellent jacket. It has zips where cheaper ones have velcro. The leather is even over the whole of the jacket. I bought mine slightly oversize for the winter riding, but it's comfortable so far.

Merlin are a great brand, the best thing is the sizing is accurate which makes it a pleasure to shop. The look and feel of this jacket is amazing it's very supple soft and warm. Armour is unnoticed and it's just a really comfortable ride, the slightly longer back means no draughts. I unwittingly rode through a rainstorm and although I wouldn't recommend, it did keep me dry and it's plenty good enough for a light shower. I absolutely love this jacket

With an asymmetrical front zip, Chester is a British motorcycle classic. Using a premium cowhide and D3O® four-piece impact protectors, the Chester jacket has thoroughly modern protection in a vintage package. There are three colour options, black, distressed brown and a distressed green for a true signature statement. Each colour comes with antique brass hardware in the Merlin branded snaps, YKK® zippers and metal buckle adjustments. The diamond-stitched quilt overlays enhance Chester's supple and luxurious feel.
