Caberg Horus X - Matt Black

Comfortable fit with significant improvement on field of view over the Caberg Duke 2 it replaced.. Far less claustrophobic than many helmets.
Once used to the slightly flimsy feeling catch the flip up is easy to operate. Noise level acceptable for a flip up. Ventilation good.
Watch out for size variation to Caberg Duke. I assumed Medium would be fine (as with the Duke) but the Horus x it was much too small and I had to change to a Large. Sportsbikeshop readily changed sizes.
Intercom fitting?- ok if you do not have to rely on the rubbish instructions. Interphone Tour unit is very tight for room when fitting to helmet exterior.

I had a Duke 11 but was getting old. This is a decent upgrade. Vision is excellent and it has a better snap fit on raising and lowering. It feels a bit snug as I chose the same size as the Duke but that for me was OK. The air ventilation is really good unlike on my hold lid and you can feel it at speed. The visor is far better for overall vision sonic my opinion safer.

Yes I brought my wife a new helmet and jacket. The Caberg helmet was as to be expected, a really good helmet. We were a bit unsure what was the best size so I asked the staff for their help. They were attentive and helpful bringing down the next size up and helping the wife with the correct fit.
The helmet is as with most things Caberg a great fitting helmet made to a very good standard, the finish to the helmet is of a high standard and the visor and retractable sun visor are an excellent touch. Along with this the liners are fully removable for cleaning. And to top it all, the price of the helmet was well priced, making the Caberg an excellent all round purchase.
