Keis S102 Heated Inner Soles
Customer Product Reviews
Very nice little addition to colder days ride, I have it connected to my warm & safe jacket, controlled with wireless controller and absolutly love it. Bought two pairs for me and my gerlfriend. A lot of adjustment in size as these can be trimmed for a perfect fit.
Was slightly dubious when I read other reviews on these they almost seemed to good to be true but I decided to go ahead a buy a set. I was not disappointed and all the reviews I read were accurate. They take a little while to get up to temp but once there keep your feet very toasty and warm, when you reach your destination it's like your feet haven't even been out in the cold. I can only have them on the middle setting as they get to hot otherwise. Great product, so glad I got a pair, should have done it sooner.
Definitely need the heat controller as they get VERY hot on max setting...! Really good and easy to fit in boots. my only minor issue is the cables are a bit of a hassle (minor) to run through trousers, and connect/disconnect but this is cancelled out by having warm feet!!
No more cold feet
The heated insoles kept my feet lovely and warm in the coldest of weather. Ideally they need the heat controller as they can be a bit to warm when they could ideally be turned down a click. If you already have a jacket then the controller that comes with it is ideal to control both jacket and insoles together. The soles are robustly manufactured and have a small trimming area at the toes to tailor for a perfect boot fit. The electrical wire comes out of the heel section to then thread up back of the bike trousers to the jacket, where a single 2 into 1 socket plugs into the jacket. (very neat and unobtrusive). Between heated handle grips, Kies jacket and the insoles, biking in cold weather is now a whole new ball game. Excellent value for money.
Very good product but you will need the heat controller which should be included in my view. Had to stop and unplug them because my feet were melting. Comfort fit wise there spot on could not feel any difference which did surprise me. I would highly recommend them with the heat controller for the price its still very good value .
Bought these with other Keis items and they are a real plus for my feet. They plug to the trousers and warm up quickly to a good heat. I have put them under the insoles of my boots as without a temperature controller they get a bit too warm on longer rides.
Perfect - but only with the heat controller
These are excellent and I'd highly recommend them but BE WARNED, I bought them as they are sold without the heat controller and didn't realise that without it they'd go to 100% heat. It burnt my foot (blister to prove it!) after being on the bike for an hour. They're great quality and make all the difference and would have got 5 stars but the heat controller is a must. You can get a small one from Keis that works well and they recommend. Ideally they'd come as a set like the jacket.
I bought these Heated insoles for my birthday, wow hot water bottles for my feet, coupled with the Keis heavy duty controller they work so well. Buy the controller at the same time, save yourself a lot of grief.(read the reviews) 54 years of frozen feet banished in 15 minutes - time they took to fit. Excellent result.
Why didn't I buy these years ago
I've been through countless type of socks in my time, from cheapo Ebay types, through to 'proper' motorcyclists socks (including a detour into hiking socks), and to be honest, probably spent more on them that I did on these. Fitting was a piece of cake, they plug straight into my heated waistcoat (so, no controller on them) and they're toasty warm very quickly. I didn't want to go the route of an additional remote control, so I've put these in my boots, then put my odour eaters on top to slightly limit the heat. It does mean my boots are a little snug, but not uncomfortably so. Worried that the cable might be annoying? Don't be - you'll feel it for about three seconds after you've put your boots on, then you'll stop noticing it's there. The cable then runs up your trousers (I ran mine between the outer and inner liners) and then it's simply a case of fishing down the waist area to pull it up to plug in. I'd recommend these - they've made my commute to work these last few weeks so much more comfortable.
