The new pin lock was bought as the previous one became scratched and cloudy. this was a surprise as this is inside the visor and is very rarely touched and only ever cleaned with a water damped cloth. However the pinlock works well and is easy to fit. As per the last one we bought the same it is embossed with a message "Day Light Use Only" what is that all about this is a clear visor and clear pinlock, are you meant to take it out if it gets dark whilst riding, what if you don't take it out and had an accident ? would you be liable ? Price was OK as in the sale otherwise they are expensive.

Received the pinlock and was surprised to see embossed in the lower edge "Day Light Use Only" never seen this before on a pinlock and not very helpful. The pinlock is clear so no reason not to use it at night, except what if you have an accident at night and the police look at it, who is then to blame ? Also after a few moNths it has gone cloudy so needs to be replaced.

The HJC Pinlock insert for RPHA 11 / RPHA 70 is a simple but highly effective upgrade. Once installed, it virtually eliminates visor fogging in cold or wet conditions, making riding much safer and more comfortable.

It fits cleanly into the visor and seals well when properly tensioned. In real-world use, it performs reliably even in heavy rain or winter commuting, keeping vision clear without constant visor cracking.

This product works great (which was a relief as I had previously bought a cheap replacement pin lock insert from elsewhere which was useless and fogged up in cold weather). Even in damp and cold conditions it remains fog-free. Recommended.

Better than the standard 120

First time trying the Pinlock 120XLT.
You can tell a difference immediately. Better fogging resistance & fits as expected. The R&D that pinlock have invested in this new product shows. I have had a few in the past that have not lasted on a wet ride but this is far better. Well done Pinlock!

Product is pretty standard and fits well unlike an aftermarket one I bought... Lesson learned.

I paid for next day delivery however, it was delayed and did not arrive until 3 days later. Totally a first world problem and To be fair to the customer service team, they refunded me the postage as soon as it was highlighted.

Really easy to switch out the visor. Looks brilliant on my helmet and keeps the sun from blinding me on the road. Easy to fit a pin lock to as well. 10/10 recommend it

Original visor cracked at the clasp. The replacement seems to be better quality and has upgraded pinlock pegs / fixings.

I would always recommend Pinlock as it helps with they cold mornings, nothing worse than fogging up and you have to open your visor slightly to he'll get it away. This way no cold drafts and happy riding
